As a med student, it’s hard to feel like I’m making an impact on patient care… But last week a patient couldn’t get a life saving drug we prescribed because the copay was $1700/mo and I showed the team @costplusdrugs where the drug was $112/mo, which he could afford!

Casually mentioned to my chief that I was a bit upset for missing 3 prayers today and needed to work on being more efficient. She stopped what she was doing, wrote down my prayer times and asked “how can we best accommodate your prayer times?” 🥺made my whole week #MedTwitter
