Mungo Park didn’t discover the River Niger, locals had been using it long before he arrived.

@AnaKrivolapova I'd rather say cool boobs. I can never be embarrassed starring at the your fresh boobs. What's there to be embarrassed?🤔

My mom used to say if you're showing cleavage always wear a necklace or pendant to give people a chance to say "cool necklace" if you catch them staring. This lesson applies to everything in life-- always give people an out. When people feel embarrassed, even if it's their fault, they subconsciously hate you

I understand David can be quite a character sometimes. I mean, without any memorable reason, he moved from unfollowing to blocking me too (I don block back sha, and my own na for life), but why is everyone running with one side of the story?? Proves the point that Twitter is never a fair court, especially when it has to do with an opinionated person here.

Mr. Hundeyin's disengagement was due to repeated, and documented financial irresponsibility. The Board members no longer had confidence in his commitment to the core principles of WAW or in his work ethic. In due time, more communication will be made available on these issues.

@savndaniel ...and it's composition should be properly looked into and considered. Our legal system does not reflect anything democratic and most times leads to a lot of bias in justice delivery. In fact, law making and justice delivery is just a total farce.

@savndaniel Still, I don't think in a democratic and extremely polarized system like that of Nigeria it'll be right to have one man decide the fate of someone or deliver justice. The jury system is truly necessary here. It's just that the principle and requirements for jury selection...

He left NADECO for CHICAGO to push drugs. He returned after ABACHA died to claim NADECO hero of democracy. These people really know how to forge themselves into big story headliners.

The SW was the ground Zero of pro democracy protests against the military junta of Abacha. We lost people. Things got so bad that Igbo people started moving to the east from Lagos & other SW states. The man who got an appointment from Abacha won't rewrite our history.

Amnesty International Nigeria@AmnestyNigeria·
Amnesty International strongly condemns the reckless and violent language of the Minister of Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Mr. Nyesom Wike in which he stated that he can respond to a statement by a journalist with shooting. Mr. Wike stated on live television that: “If there’s anyway to broke (sic) the screen, I would have shot him…” Apart from inciting violence Wike’s remarks violated Nigeria’s broadcasting code that the Nigerian Broadcasting Commission (NBC) is supposed to be enforcing. What Wike said carries the danger of normalizing violence and encouraging the targeting of journalists for just doing their job. This level of violent intent coming from a member of Nigeria’s federal cabinet is unlawful and unacceptable. Mr. Wike must withdraw his violent statement immediately and apologize.

Peter Obi just secured sympathy votes for Tinubu with that post. Many of us were already outraged by the incident in Jos. Whenever I feel like criticizing this government more strongly, Peter Obi reminds me that he could be even worse. I would rather stick with Tinubu than support someone who seems inconsistent and unclear in his stance. Obi will never be President of Nigeria.

I hope you guys know that @PeterObi was very nice to @officialABAT regarding that NADECO tweet because ‘Tipiti’ did not fight democracy, rather he was a double agent at the time. There is nothing Abacha did that Tipiti has not done x 2. Their crying or attempt to make it a tribal discourse does not change that fact that Abacha is looking like a saint when compared to Tinubu. Fact does not care about your emotion or tantrum. It is like an erected P looking for where to take a ‘bath’ Good morning Everyone, happy Holy Saturday and God bless You and Yours, Amen 🙏
