Go round the barracks, you'd see that civilian mechanics are accommodated in them because of the old and worn out Hilux Vehicles the military are using. You could write a letter requesting for new sets of Hilux vehicles for operations and they'll strike it off from Abuja, or even present it, get the money and pocket it. There are few new and operational vehicles in most military bases across Nigeria. But in every National Budget, there's always provision for new vehicles for politicians. We know what we are doing in this country.

A proper Welco boot is around 230,000 to 260,000. Genesco boot is about 190,000 to 220,000. A proper banana camo is 85,000 for the material alone. The only boot you can see for that amount: Craw craw. Canvass boot. Fake altama. Thunda burray. Let's face facts. You buy berets, jungle hats. You make your nametags, crest and ranks. Even the Armed Forces Remembrance Day emblem is sold to personnel. Soldiers are only there for the love of their family, which extends to the country.

Soja Boi has backed his claim with receipts: Salary: ₦112,000. Grumbling allowance: ₦20,000. Operational allowance: ₦45,000. You buy your own boots at ₦60,000. You buy your own uniform for ₦55,000. Then you buy your helmet & jacket as well. How much was given to the City Boys? Soldiers are sent to Maiduguri to die for 45K? How much was spent on City Boy buses, iPhones, G-Wagon, bags of rice, sewing machines, grinding machines, & refrigerators?

Today is the 9th day into another month. I'll tell you what hasn't come to the military... Their allowances hasn't been paid. IPPIS has done their part but the Accountant General of the Federation has not deemed it fit to release payments to Officers and Men of the Armed Forces of Nigeria. The Ministry of Finance under @taiwoyedele hasn't deemed it fit to approve payments to the most underrated military on earth. Yet there's enough money to share rice, buy brand new buses, rent hotels, pay bribes and even launch G-wagons for Tinubu's campaign.

@CatiaKyen How many of the suspected Nigerian muslim has N4m to pay not for the guns but for the smuggling? But considering that N4m is less than $3k may help you understand those behind the event. Nigerians are being used to destroy Nigeria in real time.

DHQ PRESS RELEASE TROOPS OF OPERATION HADIN KAI SUCCESSFULLY REPEL TERRORIST ATTACK IN BENISHEIKH In continuation of the Armed Forces of Nigeria’s (AFN) counter terrorism efforts, troops of the 29 Task Force Brigade in Operation HADIN KAI came under a coordinated terrorist attack on their location at the Brigade Headquarters in Benisheikh, Borno State. The attack occurred at approximately 0030hrs (12:30am) on Thursday, 9 April 2026, as insurgents attempted to breach the defensive perimeter of the military installation. However, the troops, led by the Commander 29 Brigade, Brigadier General Oseni Braimah, responded with exceptional courage, professionalism, and superior firepower. In a well-coordinated counteraction, the insurgents were decisively engaged and forced to retreat in disarray, abandoning their mission and leaving behind traces of their failed assault. This attack is a clear indication of the desperation of terrorist elements who, having suffered significant losses in recent operations, continue to resort to futile and ill-fated offensives against well-defended military positions. The swift and decisive response by troops underscores the high level of combat readiness, resilience, and operational effectiveness of Operation HADIN KAI in safeguarding critical locations and maintaining pressure on terrorist groups across the North-East theatre. Regrettably, the encounter resulted in the loss of a few brave and gallant soldiers who paid the supreme price in the line of duty. The Chief of Defence Staff, General Olufemi Olatunbosun Oluyede, honours their heroism, sacrifice, and unwavering commitment to the defence of the nation. Their courage will forever remain a source of pride and inspiration to the Armed Forces of Nigeria and the entire nation. The High Command extends its deepest condolences to their families and loved ones. In line with established military tradition and respect for the fallen, the general public and media are kindly requested to allow the Armed Forces to formally notify the next of kin before the release of further details. The public is also urged to disregard misinformation, sensational reports, and unverified content circulating across social media platforms, as these undermine ongoing operations and national security efforts. The Armed Forces of Nigeria, in collaboration with other security agencies and stakeholders, remain resolute and undeterred in the ongoing fight against terrorism and insurgency. Additional clearance and exploitation operations are ongoing in the general area to track and neutralize fleeing insurgents, as well as to deny them any opportunity to regroup. The Chief of Defence Staff, commends the bravery, discipline, and steadfastness of the troops, whose sacrifices continue to ensure the safety, stability, and sovereignty of Nigeria. Their dedication in one of the most challenging operational environments reaffirms the Armed Forces’ commitment to restoring lasting peace in the North-East and across the country. The general public is encouraged to continue supporting the Armed Forces through timely and credible information that can aid ongoing operations. Citizens are urged to remain calm, vigilant, and law-abiding as security forces sustain momentum in ongoing operations. Further updates will be provided as necessary. U.S. Security Alarm on Nigeria: A Bad Omen The recent directive by the United States to evacuate its embassy staff from Nigeria due to rising insecurity is deeply worrisome and should be treated as a national emergency, especially for a country already struggling to attract investors. Nigeria currently ranks fourth in the Global Terrorism Index, yet insecurity continues to worsen - lives are being lost and communities remain under constant threat. There is a glaring absence of effective governance; instead, what prevails are schemes that undermine democratic processes, as though politics has taken precedence over the safety of citizens. The U.S. directive is a clear signal of declining confidence in our national security architecture. Disturbingly, reports indicate the loss of yet another Army Brigadier General to terrorists in Borno earlier today. A nation where people cannot live, work, worship, or travel safely cannot progress or attract investment. The primary duty of any government is the protection of lives and property, yet in this regard, we as leaders have fallen short over the years. Our failure continues to place immense strain on our troops, who make the ultimate sacrifices. Sadly, as Nigeria deteriorates, we as leaders, like Nero, remain preoccupied with politics, forgetting that without security, there is no nation to govern and no future to campaign for. A New Nigeria is POssible. -PO

This is wickedness! Satellite footage has revealed a massive illegal crude oil storage site allegedly owned by a single individual, reportedly about five times the size of an Olympic swimming pool in Niger Delta. Thousands of holes were dug and filled with crude oil, with visible oil wells across the site. Reports warn that the environmental damage is so severe that vegetation may not grow there for up to 100 years.

@drkenon2 Dear @DHQNigeria @HQNigerianArmy, When will you send packing the foreign militaries that have come to worsen the insecurity in the country and getting both soldiers and civilians wantonly killed? Nigeria was safer without them. This shouldn't be happening in Abuja.

I Risked My Life for a Country That Can’t Pay Me — Who Stole Our RCA? I once saw a document in my camp stating that soldiers on operations are entitled to ₦5,000 per day as RCA. I was only getting ₦45,000 a month. Who pocketed the rest? No soldier has ever asked that question. I risked my life for a country that neither values it nor pays me fairly, all in the name of selfless service. Yet, the politicians who claim to lead us can’t even show the same commitment. In Nigeria, the military has been turned into a tool of mental and civil slavery, where soldiers bear the burden of risks, stress, and injustice. True professionalism demands fairness, accountability, and genuine care for those on the frontlines.

You will not believe this. United States VP, J.D Vance, was in Budapest on Tuesday to openly campaign for the autocratic Prime Minister of Hungary, Viktor Orbán, who has been in power for 16 years. According to Vance, Orbán MUST win because he aligns with the US-approved western values. You can now understand why they have a problem with Ibrahim Traore, who’s only been in power for 3 years in Burkina Faso.

NNPC wanted to do maintenance on an oil well in Okrika Rivers state. They awarded the contract to Builders Resources Limited. While working on the well, They caused a fire that has been burning on the river since 25th Feb 2024, polluting the environment and killing all fishes in the river, leaving the community with no way to fish or farm. To this day, nothing has been done about it. The funny thing is that some people from the community will still vote for this incompetent APC government in 2027 because they worship wike.

The German government is deflecting blame and making accusations to defend Ursula von der Leyen over allegations of interference in the Hungarian elections! The German government was outraged because the U.S. vice president JD Vance dared to mention in his Budapest speech that Brussels was interfering in the Hungarian elections. The German government spokesperson accused Vice President JD Vance of the same thing. So let’s compare the two! - For years, Brussels has been withholding billions of euros from Hungary in order to slow down development and damage the government’s reputation. - The European Commission has taken Hungary to court because we refuse to take in illegal immigrants. As a result, our country has been fined for 200 million euros, plus an additional 1 million euros per day until we take them in. - A significant number of Hungarian students were excluded from the Erasmus programme because certain universities decided to switch to a new model - a decision that is totally unrelated to the students. This was done solely to incite students against the government. Instead, we established the Pannonia Scholarship Program. - The European Commission colluded with President Zelenskyy’s energy blockade against Hungary, which was intended to sow chaos during the campaign and blackmail the Hungarian government into abandoning cheap mandated utilities for households and giving up Russian oil imports. This was also done to help the opposition Tisza Party. - The European Commission activated its online censorship system during the campaign, a system that had already been abused in the past to restrict right-wing views rather than foreign interference in several EU countries during elections. - The European Commission has funneled millions into Hungary’s left-wing media and organizations, and the online censorship center in Hungary is also funded from Brussels! - "Journalist" Szabolcs Panyi deliberately collaborated with the intelligence services of three European countries in a joint effort to discredit the Hungarian government during the campaign period. Panyi has been funded by the American left and the EU for years. In contrast, on the other side of the scale: the U.S. vice president delivered a speech in support of Viktor Orbán in Budapest. Leaders in Brussels, including Ursula von der Leyen, a German, are shamelessly interfering in the Hungarian election campaign, and yet they still have the nerve to accuse others of interference. Hungarians have had ENOUGH OF FOREIGN INTERFERENCE! WE DON’T WANT A PUPPET GOVERNMENT!

This is what Nigerians are going through in the hands of the police. A young student was stopped, taken to a secluded area, harassed, assaulted, threatened, and forced to pay money before being released. They damaged his phone, tore his school documents, and still had the audacity to call him a criminal. How long will this keep happening? There are still many more I’ve not posted yet. This is not policing, this is oppression. We cannot keep normalising this. @PoliceNG @PoliceNG_CRU

It’s Thursday now, a full day after you said these officers would be brought to Abuja to face the IGP, and still nothing. No update, no statement, just silence. A lot of people already said this is how these things get swept under the carpet. Aren’t you trying to prove them wrong at least? Nigerians are watching. We’re all waiting. Don’t let this fade away. @PoliceNG @PoliceNG_CRU
