I was pleased to present Sergeant Vinson Boyce assigned to @IMPDnews Sex Crimes Unit his medal of Merit for his investigative effort on a sexual assault case, that resulted in an arrest of the offender, he and Detective Lobe worked. Detective Lobe has already received his medal.

Why gun related shootings have continued to trend down since 2021, due to number of efforts to include efficient and targeted enforcement, we must continue to advance our efforts in a collaborative fashion that offers alternatives.

Major Eli McAllister is a 22-year veteran of the IMPD. He began his career as a patrol officer on East District before becoming a Child Abuse Detective where he served for several years. Throughout his career, he has served in leadership roles across multiple units, including Policy and Planning, Aggravated Assault, Child Abuse, and, most recently, the IMPD Homicide Unit. His work advocating for children who experienced abuse remains one of the most meaningful and impactful parts of his career.
