No Pokemon card will ever be worth as much as that photo & the memories. I grew up in a house that valued things. You've taught me how important making memories with loved ones is. It was hard to let go of a decade of cards, but I have 0 regrets.

The 90s kids who learned their countries from Yakko Warner now have their own kids who, while the lesson is different, are still learning from Yakko's World. And yes, I did pull up the video of the updated verse from a few years ago. (3/3)

He goes on to tell me that they were challenged to list all the countries in the song that dont exist anymore and the modern ones that were missing. I hope @yakkopinky is tickled to know Yakko's World is still teaching kids geography 30+ years later (2/3)

Pokey has Geography this year. He was telling me about class. "We watched a video, it was a song listing the countries, but it was old and outdated" Me: "From Animaniacs!United States, Canada, Mexico, Panama..." Him : "How did you know?" Child, I grew up when that was on TV (1/3)

Well that sucks. Was super excited to have picked up a box of the @GreenDay GPK cards. Then @Topps canceled my order because it was oversold.

I can also send you some cool cards, like promos (not in English) from the World Championship. None of it is super valuable, but the Gang won't disapprove of these cards

Hey @NianticHelp I'm trying to buy a ticket to GoFest for my 12 yr old. His Go account logs in w/ his @playpokemon account. My PTC account is linked to my Go account & his PTC account, but when I try to add him to my ticket purchase its acting like I'm not the linked parent

I've had friends who go by their middle name, as well as someone who went by "Chip" because he was the 3rd of his name. And just like they found it weird when people called them by their legal first name, I hate it when anyone but my immediate family call me by my given name

Before anyone starts transphobic bs, Im not trans. I just don't go by my my legal name. Trans people aren't the only ones who can have preferred names. I have an uncommon name with an uncommon diminutive (think "Abby" for "Abigail" "Beth" for "Elizabeth" or "Cole" for "Nicholas")

Extremly disappointed in @playpokemon and @fanfinity_pkm Typically, by definition, a "preferred name" isn't a legal name & isn't on gvmt issue ids. My registration matches my ID, so why can't my badge have the name everyone calls me?

@beeluvsbunni @badboypuns not that that excuses artists making his skin lighter in art than his MC or IRL skin, but I think there is a bit more wiggle room there than with BigB (who is a precious soul that deserves more love than he gets in the LifeSeries)

@beeluvsbunni @badboypuns In defense of Bdubs being white washed, apparently he doesn't consider himself POC? Like, he was genuinely confused when people were questioning the light block choice for his skin on the sewer cats/south park graffiti on Impulses' wall.

i truly believe the way people treat bigb has undertones of racism. from not drawing his hair correctly, to whitewashing, to even just excluding him from tier lists and threads. when it almost always happens exclusively to the only black person in the series, its noticeable.
