As you know, I’m a former doctor and now a developer, anime lover, and serial founder^^
Today, I’m starting a writing series to share my thoughts on Web3, anime, neuroscience, and code.
Told from the lens of someone who left certainty in search of meaning and I hope it speaks to you🧙♂️
You Don't See Reality , You Predict It. That's Why Anime Wins.
You know that weird feeling when you wake up and everything looks normal same ceiling, same light, same coffee sound in the background but something just feels off?
Like the moment’s been played before?
Yeah, that feeling?
That’s your brain glitching.
Not because something is wrong, but because everything feels too right.
Too perfect.
See, your brain doesn’t actually see reality. It predicts it.
There's this idea in neuroscience called predictive coding.
Basically, your brain doesn’t sit around waiting for the world to feed it information.
It actively tries to guess what’s going to happen next and compares those guesses to incoming sensory signals.
And the whole reason it does that is to reduce entropy.
Entropy means uncertainty and your brain hates uncertainty.
So instead of processing the chaotic flood of raw data every second, it builds models.
Simulations. Shortcuts.
It’s not trying to give you the “truth,” it’s just trying to minimize surprises.
Predictable = Safe and Safe = Survival.
That’s the system.
Now here's where it gets wild:
Experiments show your brain activates visual areas before it actually sees something like it’s already prepping the image.
If the actual input matches the guess, cool.
If not, it tweaks the model.
But the brain’s priority is always: don’t be surprised.
This is why illusions work.
It’s why you “see” things that aren’t there.
Why you sometimes feel like something’s true before you can explain why.
Your brain’s guessing game is always running in the background, and most of what you call reality is just your expectations being confirmed.
Okay, but what does this have to do with anime and marketing?
Everything.
Our attention spans are melting and content fatigue is real, your brain is starving for patterns it can process easily.
Anime, with its exaggerated expressions, clean visuals, symbolic shortcuts, and emotional clarity is predictive coding heaven.
Your brain doesn’t have to work hard to get the vibe.
Big eyes = emotion
Flash cut = action
Cherry blossoms = beauty or farewell
A single frame can carry preloaded meaning thanks to cultural tropes and aesthetic coding.
It’s not just beautiful. It’s efficient.
This makes anime incredibly sticky in marketing.
It hijacks the brain’s prediction engine.
It’s not “realistic,” but it doesn’t need to be.
It’s tuned for perception, not accuracy and that makes it perfect for branding.
Think about it: if your brain is building a model of the world to feel safe, then anime isn’t “escapism.”
It’s actually a cleaner interface for how your mind already wants to interpret reality.
That’s why people get hooked. It’s not just entertainment. It’s cognitive resonance.
So yeah anime isn’t just going to be a niche trend.
It’s going to be the dominant aesthetic language of the attention economy.
Not because it’s cool.
Because it’s neurologically optimized.
Hope you read and like this🧙♂️
And for the last notes #IKZ mfers and @RaizokuRising on top⚡️

I've realized over the last few months that we live in a world where we have three seconds to exist or we just disappear.
Our attention spans are getting wrecked by the amount of information we receive every day through social media.
People aren't reading long texts anymore, they're not watching 10 minute videos unless you're already a god tier creator.
Everything now is about instant emotional hits.
And guess what’s the sharpest weapon in this new world?
Short animations and anime style arts.
Why?
Because:
Our brain searches for a way to express itself. It started with long primitive sounds we make and evolved into speech and then writing, but as always, our way of expressing ourselves evolves with the requirements of enviroment.
Right now, we are looking for a way to show everything we feel in a very short time, and this why we like tiktok, reels or any compact expression method.
But this is just the beginning, soon 60 seconds videos will start to seem long to us and we will need, or rather we need, a way to express our thoughts instantly. And this way is Anime arts.
Anime has instant emotional pull. Even if you don't know the character, a good anime frame makes you feel something like hype, sadness or funny instantly.
It’s why brands like @Azuki , and honestly anyone who masters this style, are building an unstoppable advantage.
They’re speaking the new internet language fluently, while others are still trying to write essays no one's gonna read.
This is the golden weapon
Fast. Emotional. Beautiful. Memorable.
Don't you believe it?
The reason you read this article until here might be the power of anime, so #ikz mfers and remember @RaizokuRising on top ⚡️

I've continued my exploration of the GhostWire Character, this time I used an Azuki (7667), as the base inspiration for the character. #RunwayGen3
