No, that's a fallacy that can't be proven. Direct observation of classrooms revealed there to be little to no prevelance of autism. Most schools already had special education rooms in the 70s and 80s and the class size was very small. Now those rooms are full and higher functioning autists have ECE's in the room with them. Today, teachers can make a claim that a child is autistic or has ADHD and the testing will support it. This isn't about new diagnosistic tools, it's about creating a veil over the truth.
