@KathleenWinche3 I knew this was where bike lanes were headed. F*cking psycho cyclists wont stop until they build designated lanes on interstates and highways. Imagine the beltway in DC with these lunatics.

I'm waking up with a headache and stiff neck this morning due to how violently anti-ICE activist, Chris Ostroushko, shoved me down yesterday. A second angle shows that he had to be held back by 5 men as he continued to charge at me. I didn't speak a word to him all day yet he repeatedly called me a bitch and very clearly looks like he wanted to violently hurt me even worse than he did. I'm happy to report that charges will be brought against this man, his wife and daughter.

Hot take: I shouldn’t have to buy a cheap duplex or “starter home” that doesn’t suit my needs to get into the housing market. I should just be able to buy a reasonably priced home with a good yard and a few bedrooms like my grandparents did and keep it forever.

I stayed at this high end mountain resort a couple of years ago and they had the most wonderful mattresses. I liked it so much I took the sheets off the bed so I could find out what it was. It’s called a Wright mattress. They don’t advertise, they let word of mouth do the taking for them. I bought one for my bed room and, later, another for my guest room. I’ve shared it with co-workers and others and several have bought them and love them. wrightbedding.com

Buying a mattress feels worse than buying a used car. But, my wife and I need one SOOO bad! I’m looking for suggestions. Some questions we have: 1. I hear of people buying them online, like through Amazon as opposed to going to those run down looking strip mattress stores. Is that the best way to do it? 2. Some have said don’t buy anything nice, just buy a new one every two years. This actually seems smart in a way because I feel like every one I’ve purchased seems to suck around two years. 3. My spare bed queen mattress is awesome. Why does it seem like king size mattresses fall apart faster? Your recommendations are greatly appreciated!

North Carolina Hospitals have deployed these telepresence robots These allow doctors to interact remotely with patients. A real human doctor is operating this remotely and speaking with patients Yes, this is real. This is so dystopian North Carolina hospitals deployed these to combat doctor burnout and staffing shortages at some locations

@greg16676935420 The frikkin Erie Canal took only 7 years to build. By hand. With shovels. Across the entire length of NYS. With bridges to cross rivers. Pussies

As a millennial, I can say that boomers and even my own generation comparing our early 20s to today’s 20-25 year-olds needs to stop. I paid $800 for an apartment at 21. Today it’s $1900. Burgers weren’t $20, cars weren't $50K. Life is not comparable. It’s a completely different world now.

A boomer bought a house in 1978 for $58,000. Did nothing. Lived in it. Watched TV. Mowed the lawn. Sold it in 2022 for $620,000. That $562,000 didn't appear from nowhere. It came from every millennial and Gen Z buyer who had to pay what the market became. One generation's windfall is another generation's barrier to entry.

@HarmeetKDhillon Anna Wintour is apparently so far forward she missed realizing she's become a cliché. The fierce fashionable girl boss only appeals to young gay male personal assistants anymore. And they are just as insufferable.

@JackitDaley @skumWgmi Only in your imagination did t happen that way. I didn't live in a home that I didn't rent until I was 38. I have worked for everything I have. My parents didn't leave me anything. They used what they had for themselves which I 100% approve of. Now, go away and whine elsewhere.

You absolutely rode the wave of wealth made possible by your parents, the Greatest Generation. Successive decades of decline in America since the 70s proves Boomers were mediocre at best, brazenly selfish at worst. You probably land in the middle. Why can't you just f*cking admit it?? Just leave already and ride off into the sunset Boomer. It's time for the next generation to clean up the absolute mess you've made WITH EVERYTHING!!

@JackitDaley @skumWgmi I'm Boomer, and I proudly served my country. Nothing was given to me. I worked for what I have. Growing up, we lived in a succession of houses that my parents bought that started with a 700 Sq ft house. Each time we moved, we bought a slightly bigger house.

Abigail Spanberger was just asked about her collapsing poll numbers just 12 weeks into her term as Virginia's governor after racing to the far-left despite running as a moderate: *uncomfortable laughter* “If everybody hated me, why is everybody putting my face on mailers?” *smirk*

@WallStreetApes Why use tax money for necessary infrastructure improvements when liberal scolds can demand it be spent it on programs for deadbeats and new arrivals. According to them, they need it more than you know, the ACTUAL TAXPAYER!!!!

American is furious over the state of our roads “I cannot f*cking believe that we pay to drive on shit like this. F*cking unreal — These f*cking assholes waste our money on everything except for what we f*cking give it to 'em for” His truck sounds like it’s shaking apart because of the potholes and cracks in the road. He says his vehicle almost comes out of gear because of the road

My boomer uncle paid for college working summers at a gas station. $1,200 a semester. Graduated debt free. Bought a house at 24. Told my cousin last Christmas: “You kids just don’t want to work hard enough.” She works two jobs. Has $67,000 in student loans, for a state school. Here’s the math he won’t do: His gas station job in 1974 paid $2.10/hour. >Minimum wage today is $7.25. >Tuition has gone up 1,400%. >His wages went up 3x. >Her debt went up 14x. He didn’t work harder. The math just worked for him. It doesn’t work anymore.

Americans have realized older appliances last forever, and even often times work better, than new ones This man shows his “1956 Frigidaire washer, I wanna show you guys how quickly it'll empty this tub and get up to 1100 RPMs of spin speed. Watch this” Appliances before planned obsolescence were infinitely better. Now everything is planned to break so you have to keep buying it every few years
