building in a space that didn’t have a name a year ago is strange. half the job is just explaining the problem exists.

most brands have no idea that AI assistants are now a discovery channel. people ask ChatGPT “what’s the best X” and buy from the answer. and almost nobody is measuring whether they show up. feels like SEO in 2003.
