@averycode 100% agree, when i used to work at a startup we used to do all this user research sessions, where we would just observe our users use the app and it's insanely valuable! the things you think are obvious they really are not most of the time

UX matters just as much as features I signed up for a saas that I needed But didn’t end up subscribing bc the interactions were confusing. As a user I didn’t care that it had 10+ features, I needed the core feature to be super easy to learn I don’t have any UX experience so my best reference is getting on a screenshare to watch users use my app It’s rare, but when they agree to this it’s so valuable

@tuctyle completely agree my niblings (around 7yo) test my apps and it’s eye opening 👀

@averycode Another effective method is to give the app to your grandma (or a child) and ask them what the app does and how to use. If they can figure that out, you can be confident you have a good ux design
