Nigel Farage plays the victim once again over the undisclosed £5m ‘gift’ by crypto billionaire Christopher Harborne.
If there is nothing to hide why is he bothered that it has been released and why take legal advice to avoid declaring it?

The turnout in the local elections was 31.5%. Farage and his foreign and billionaire backers are being propelled towards power by the apathy and complacency of good people.
Farage is also being helped by a news media that protects and promotes him, and by his political opponents who continue to treat him as a normal politician, not as a traitor serving an international kleptfascist axis that is waging war on democracy, freedom and human rights.
When it comes to Farage the progressive parties must stop following the news. They must start making it. If Farage's funding, his relationship to Russia and Trump, his schoolboy fascism, his Clacton house purchase etc., are not in the news, then the progressive parties have to push them into the news, over and over again. It's useless mentioning these things once every year or two. To get something into the public mind requires relentless, mindless repetition. The far-right and their press backers understand this very well, which is why they go on and on about topics like small boats, and why they ceaselessly tarred Corbyn (whom I detest) with antisemitism.

@darrenpjones @Keir_Starmer Are these the brilliant Labour colleagues you are talking about???

@darrenpjones @Vinc_Ev_ @Keir_Starmer Time to be bolder. Time to do something eye catching. Time to blow your own trumpets MUCH more and play Reform at their own game. They are having it too much their own way with no scrutiny right now.

The election results today have clearly been tough for Labour.
I’m sorry that we’ve lost so many brilliant Labour colleagues across the country, and thank them for their service.
And I’m sorry that so many voters felt unable to vote Labour at these elections.
@Keir_Starmer has taken responsibility and committed all of us to delivering on the mandate the country gave us at the last election.
The Labour Party shouldn’t waste a minute of the time we’ve been given to get on with that job. If we turn inwards the public will think we’re walking away from that challenge.
The next election will have unity or division on the ballot. A Britain built for all, or a Britain for the few.
Britain is at its best when we come together and rise to the challenges of our time.
And Labour is at its best when our values of equality, collectivism and unity power our project for the British people.
We can deliver a better Britain in the years ahead and beat the prospect of division at the next election, but only if we come together, get on with the job and face the future.

The PM @Keir_Starmer has been clear. These were really tough results for Labour and more needs to change. He’s taken responsibility for that. He’s not once ducked such responsibilities.
But we won’t deliver for our communities or serve the national interest by turning in on ourselves.
We must dust ourselves off, come together and get back to delivering for the people who elected us with a landslide just two years ago.
The PM is right not to walk away or talking timetables. At a moment like this, the country needs focus, stability and delivery, not chaos.

The billionaire owned MSM and fascist @BBCNews have over represented Farage by 70%. Voters have been blind sided by relentless bias against Labour and for a snake oil salesman. MEGA is happening here. Time for Leveson 2.

The main stream media have been gunning for Sir Keir Starmer since he became LOTO. He was held to a much higher standard than Boris Johnson, the then Prime Minister.
This is why Starmer isn’t fazed by the constant calls to resign. It’s been going on for six years.

Millions of voters in England - not content with the disasters of Brexit & BoJo - think the way to solve problems caused by elite wealth & power is to vote for a party dedicated to protecting the interests of elite wealth & power.
