Yesterday a clipped video was shared by right wing users on X and seen over 12 million times. It showed Biden allegedly ignoring an African-American woman. I hope that this video of the same woman getting hugged by Biden is seen by at least 12 million people, but I know it won’t be. That’s the way the misinformation machine works here on X. The clipped video with the false narrative will be seen exponentially more than the actual context.

@RickyJa56396441 @CalltoActivism It doesn’t work that way. If someone is found guilty of murder by a jury, the judge doesn’t automatically give the states governor texts just in case he wants to pardon him. Abbot was reacting to Tucker.

@CalltoActivism Why didn’t the judge give Abbott all the information, so that Abbott could have known the full story? Why don’t we try working together instead of setting up each other for “gotcha moments”? It seems childish.

I'm tired of Republicans saying things like "If you want to ban AR-15's then why don't we ban cars since cars kill more people." Here's why this argument actually proves why we need more Gun Laws: - Cars require a registration. - Drivers need a license to use them. - Drivers require insurance in case their car kills/injures someone. - There are 100's of safety restrictions on cars before they are road-ready. - A car user needs to pass a test to drive it. - They also need to take a course in most states. - There are dozens of restrictions based on age, health, etc. - You can lose your right to drive a car if you don't use it properly. - Cars are illegal to use when drunk.
