Financially — I’m going to win. Mentally — I’m going to win. Emotionally — I’m going to win. Physically — I’m going to win. Family wise — I’m going to win. Career wise — I’m going to win. With Love — I’m going to win. In my life — I’m going to win. I’m claiming it all ✨

@SinothandoYena Zindzi is now deceased. Both of the producers are Zenani’s children. Zindzi has always been the more politically active between the two and was ALWAYS with her mother. It’s unfortunate that they’ve erased her in this doccie

@soigomaa "Son of a bitch" is supposed to be an insult towards a man, but why attach his awfulness to a woman when he can be awful all on his own accord?

notice how "fatherless", "single mother" and "daddy issues" are used as insults towards women but they're all examples of a man's failure

I wouldn’t go as far as saying George Bizos “lied” because that’s too simple for a very complicated time and set of political relationships. People speak from where they stood, what they saw, and what they believed was necessary in that moment. So based on that context many somewhat did lie. Remember, even among those closest to uTata Madiba, there were different views about Mama Winnie. Some genuinely felt she had become too controversial for the kind of global image they were trying to build around him at the time. Others were thinking politically in terms of the negotiations, about international perception, about stabilising a very fragile transition. And some lied to protect or defend their hand in the political betrayal and subsequent breakdown between Mandela and Winnie. So it’s not that “a whole Bizos would lie,” it’s that people made choices, took positions, and sometimes aligned themselves with what they thought would protect the bigger project and whether that was the movement, the negotiations, or even their own standing in that new order. Many gave in to the manipulation by the system, others to please the economic elites and big business donors who were now funding their lifestyles from paying for their homes, cars, children's school fees and giving them shares or non executive directorship positions for their spouses and family members in blue-chip companies and entities. So they saw her as a huge liability that can't be politically managed. And yes, let’s be honest, not everyone was immune to pressure either from political, economic, even personal. Some distanced themselves from her because they saw her as a liability, fair or unfair. History is messy like that. It’s rarely about one person lying rather it’s about many people moving differently in the same storm.

Special Investigating Unit (SIU)
#KnowYourSIU| 1. The SIU does not target people nor do we investigate people. We investigate procurement processes in State Institutions and all levels of government departments, and it's through these processes that we find people who are responsible. In simple terms, we follow the money and the money leads us to people. 2. The law that governs the SIU states that the SIU does not identify its own investigations. We receive allegations, which we then assess to see if falls within our mandate, and we write a motivation for a proclamation to the President for authorisation. We rely on whistleblowers or people reporting to our hotline, which is 0800 037 774.

Why the SIU is suddenly targeting high-profile influencers?
