I’m with the Apostle Paul…I’m for any church (big or small) that faithfully preaches the Word and boldly preaches the Gospel (Philippians 1:15-18).

This verse always makes me stop dead in my tracks. This is the one God looks upon. Just imagine if all believers lived this way:

I follow many pastors on X, and it’s interesting to me to see how many pastors are: cruel, not exhibiting fruit of the Spirit, and so angry about so many things. Shouldn’t we be each others biggest encouragers and prayer warriors? Shouldn’t we be people of peace? I believe so

Steve Gaines was a brother in arms to me if ever there was such a thing. He was a colleague, a captain, an older brother, a friend, a mentor. He had a relentless, unflagging, inspiring fixation on evangelism. It stood at the center of everything he did, every venture he undertook, every fight he engaged in.
Many remember his and my intersection in the SBC Presidential election of 2016 in which I pulled out so he could win unopposed. What most people don’t know is that he first insisted it be him to drop out. But it was clear that he was God’s choice for that hour. Stepping aside to serve and follow him was one of the easiest decisions I’d ever made. May God give us 10,000 more like him. We certainly need more of him in this hour. You are loved and will be missed, brother.

@pastordmack Bro, you can’t go inside a church and disrupt their services…at least not in our country. Try doing that in a court of law and you’d be thrown out or arrested. Say all you want OUTSIDE the church. Can’t believe you aren’t standing up for the Church. But why am I not surprised?

This is a needed and welcomed step. This arrest sends a message that no protester has the right to interrupt and interfere with a gathered religious assembly exercising the most fundamental right in our American republic, the right to worship freely. Mr. Lemon will have the opportunity to argue his case in a court of law but his obvious participation and encouragement of the disruptive acts that terrorized the Cities Church in Minneapolis warrants this prosecution. This is an important step in defending the most cherished of American civil liberties and the most sacred of obligations for Christian people.
