@Magpie24_7 The one and only person to blame is the guy you aren’t willing to ever criticise and that’s EDDIE HOWE. When he’s playing a winger over the 3 strikers we have (to be fair I don’t mind Gordon as a ST when ST’s are injured) and a ST as a CM that’s frustrating to Wissa & Woltemade.

🇨🇩 Wissa, our #9 – the one who was supposed to help us regain our footing after the whole Isak debacle – the one who cost Newcastle United £55 million this past summer – the one who went on strike at Brentford because he wanted to come to Newcastle so badly – the one who has only scored one goal for us so far in the Premier League… 🐝 I used to admire Wissa at Brentford and always felt like he would score whenever he got the ball. When he officially signed for Newcastle, I was excited to see what he could do for us. As a surprise to us all, since his arrival, he has been nothing more than a plant pot on the bench. I get that it takes time for a new player to jive with a new team, and I understand that he’s been injured, but it’s been seven months. It’s time to see the Wissa we all used to know from Brentford. To make matters worse, he only seems to score and put in the effort for his country during the international games. If he can put in that kind of effort there, why can’t he for us? We paid a big fee – one that we easily could have put toward someone else – only to have him fail to live up to his name. Yes, he has only made 13 appearances for us in the league, mostly as a sub from the bench, but he seems to be a shadow of his former self. Not only that, but he seems to be clueless and oblivious about the impact of his disrespectful social media support of Brobbey’s Instagram post of Sunderland’s win over us in the derby, let's hope it's fake. What kind of player, wearing the cherished #9 shirt, previously worn by a legend, would do something like that without thinking about how it would be viewed by his fans and supporters? If he wants to win over the NUFC fans, Wissa needs to reassess his priorities; show that his club means as much to him as his country; and prove that we made a good decision in putting our faith in him. What do you think about Wissa as a NUFC player? Would you like to see him go in the next transfer window or do you think he will come good for us? 🤔 #NUFC #NUFCNews #Newcastle

@mikeyjpatt @NewcastleFansTV Yes cos that would’ve been off of two wins totally unexpected. The problem isn’t how we play versus the elite 6 teams, but everyone else and the everyone else record is unacceptable, especially losing twice to the mackems. If Howe was anything but English he’d be gone!

@NewcastleFansTV I agree, let’s see where w finish before we start hurling abuse, Had we not lost to the mackems, and actually beat them we would have been 6th on 48 points and 1 point behind CL place. The mood would have been very different

David Hopkinson has said he doesn't want to debate Eddie Howe's future, the Sunderland loss hurt & the focus is on the last 7 games. Thoughts?

@NewcastleFansTV Howe gets to the end of the season. Anything after that is a tragedy for this clubs small term future. We can’t afford to have every other season missing out on Europe. If we actually want to progress we need to get a better manager. Howe is a world class coach, not manager!

@Magpie24_7 Crazy that the player has to gain confidence playing international friendlies in the middle of the season cos of Howe’s terrible management of his own player. 🤦🏼‍♂️

🇩🇪 Newcastle United striker Nick Woltemade spearheaded the German attack in Stuttgart on Monday night, as the national team secured a 2-1 victory over Ghana. The international call-up was intended to bolster Woltemade’s confidence following a difficult second half of the season on Tyneside. However, despite featuring in two matches during the break—one as a substitute—the forward failed to find the net, leaving the German press unimpressed with his clinical edge. BILD on Woltemade: “Things aren’t going quite so well for Havertz’s replacement and Undav’s striker rival, Woltemade. The former Stuttgart player failed to capitalise on his golden opportunity in the 4th minute, his low shot going just wide of the left post. ARD [German TV] expert Bastian Schweinsteiger commented on the chance: “He has to score that.” Sportschau on his overall contribution to the build-up play: “It was a game emblematic of Nick Woltemade’s current situation. Whenever he got the ball in the attacking third, Germany looked dangerous. The Newcastle United man was a real asset in the team’s combination play, had great ideas, created chances, but then squandered them and was also unlucky in one or two situations. A player of his calibre, regardless of age, has to convert one of his clear-cut chances if he wants to be a regular starter at the World Cup.” Kicker opted for a more blunt assessment, simply running the headline: “Woltemade misses.” Woltemade is expected to return to the striker role under Eddie Howe as Newcastle look to finish the season strongly. However, with his starting spot for the upcoming World Cup in doubt and questions lingering over his long-term future at Newcastle, the pressure is on to turn his creative play into cold, hard goals. #NUFC #NUFCNews #Newcastle #EPL

🇪🇸 The initial excitement surrounding Newcastle United prospect Antoñito Cordero appears to be fading as the young forward faces heavy criticism in the Spanish press. After joining us on a free transfer last summer—beating out giants like Real Madrid and Barcelona—Cordero was sent on loan to Westerlo before moving to Cádiz in January. However, his return to Spain has been anything but triumphant. Local outlets, specifically Málaga Hoy, have been quick to point out that the 19-year-old’s performances have been entirely unremarkable. Since joining Cádiz, he has failed to record a single goal or assist in LaLiga2. This lack of production was particularly evident during a recent 3-0 loss to his former club, Málaga. While his former team handled his return with a level of affection, the media coverage has been much more clinical and dismissive. The narrative regarding Cordero has shifted from high-potential wonderkid to a cautionary tale of "hype" not meeting reality. Journalists have noted that there has been no discernible leap in quality since his move to England, and the patience of the Cádiz faithful is reportedly wearing thin. For many in Spain, there is a sense of quiet satisfaction in his struggles, especially after Málaga felt slighted by his decision to leave for a bigger paycheck in the Premier League. At this stage, the young loanee finds himself at a crossroads. The objective data simply does not support the reputation he arrived with, leaving him with a narrowing window of time to prove he can still justify the significant interest we showed in him last year. Another loan next season seems inevitable as he will be nowhere near the levels Newcastle need him to be at to trouble the first team! #NUFC #NUFCNews #Newcastle #EPL

@TomTalksToon Better hope by the time he’s 18-19 Eddie Howe is nowhere near managing. He stunts the growth of the youth. Miley only got a chance to shine cos of the injuries and Tonali’s suspension otherwise he’d have been sent to Brighton, Bournemouth or Fulham to progress.

EXCLUSIVE: Highly-rated Charlie Robinson scored a hat-trick for #NUFC U15 earlier today versus Crystal Palace in the PL U15 International Tournament. They also beat Man Utd 2-0 yesterday. To make it to the knockouts, they just need to avoid a 5-0 defeat to Juventus later today.

@Ethan26384197 @Magpie24_7 😂 yeah sure he is fella. We don’t have to sell. He just signed an extension with us. But if Tonali wants to leave I guarantee it will be back to Italy. He never wanted to leave Italy in the first place. However we love him and stood by him when he was banned for gambling.

🇮🇹 Marco Materazzi has publicly called on Sandro Tonali to show loyalty to Newcastle United, reminding the midfielder that the club and its supporters stood by him during his ten-month gambling suspension. Despite Tonali’s return to the pitch, his future on Tyneside remains a subject of intense speculation. Reports suggest a 'gentleman’s agreement' may exist, allowing Tonali to depart if Newcastle fails to secure European football. His agent, Giuseppe Riso, has fueled these fires by suggesting a move to a title contending team like Arsenal or Manchester City is "very likely" following the World Cup. Materazzi, a 2006 World Cup winner, believes Tonali owes it to us though to stay and build a lasting legacy: “Sandro Tonali can play in any team in Italy and England but he has to decide if he wants to stay at Newcastle United because they believed in him. The city and the fans and the club believed in him and stuck by him. He has to think about that too, not just whether he could play for Arsenal, Liverpool or.... I would like him to stay at Newcastle and build his legacy.” While his agent explores options, Tonali has remained more guarded. In previous statements, the midfielder expressed happiness at St James' Park but refused to commit to a long-term stay, noting that "in football, you need to think year on year." With seven games remaining in the season, the pressure is on for Newcastle to secure a European spot and potentially silence the transfer talk surrounding Sandro. #NUFC #NUFCNews #Newcastle #EPL #Arsenal #ManUtd #ManCity
