1. The 2024 ICJ opinion is advisory—not binding.
2. It doesn't prohibit trade deals with Israel.
3. Egypt buying gas violates no international law.
4. There's no “genocide.”
5. You called to sanction US; US sanctioned you.

Egypt can say what it wants but purchasing $35bn of gas from Israel violates int'l law, including the ICJ advisory opinion of 2024, and is, honestly, an incredible sign of support to Israel during the genocide of the Palestinians. States must stop placing profits above humanity.
