The West was like Adam and Eve, innocent, born into a cultural Eden shaped by truth, freedom, and moral clarity. Its moral foundation was created through centuries of Judeo-Christian ethics and the painful refining fires of self-correction. But then came the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil, a foreign import. Corrupted cultural systems, ideologies that carry within them a different understanding of morality, power, and truth. These systems did not pass through the West’s historical transformation. Now, the West has eaten from the tree. By embracing ideologies it doesn’t understand, and refusing to challenge them in the name of tolerance, it has corrupted its moral compass. What was once clearly right and wrong has become relative. Evil is excused. Good is doubted, and Eden no longer exists.
