At the Canada-Baltic 3+1 meeting, Minister Joly reaffirmed Canada’s strong commitment to Euro-Atlantic security and #NATO.

Today we solemnly mark 1,000 days since the beginning of Russia’s full-scale invasion of #Ukraine and almost 4,000 days since the illegal annexation of Crimea by Russia. Canada will continue to #StandWithUkraine for as long as it takes.

1,000 days ago, Russia launched a full-scale invasion of Ukraine, unleashing an attack on democracy. Each day since, Ukrainians have shown unmatched resilience. As they continue to stand strong in defence of their homeland, Canada will stand with them for as long as it takes.

Latvian patriotism is inspiring! Happy to observe the Latvian National Armed Forces Parade and to see even more Canadian participation this year. Heureux d’assister au défilé des forces armées nationales lettone et de voir encore plus de participation canadienne cette année.
