Big morning! Snowmaking is officially underway as we work towards opening as early as possible with 2+ miles of skiing and riding AND we have a new GM we’re excited to introduce… Meet Shannon Buhler, Keystone’s new VP & GM!

Our peaks are blanketed in a thin layer of snow, the snow machines are whirring, and now we wait for the arrival of the Keystone Powderhound, slowly coming out of hibernation ❄️

to the West Coast but operating ski resorts is quite literally in her blood… if her last name sounds familiar, that’s because her dad, John Buhler, previously held the same role at Keystone. We think she’s pretty awesome, and we’re all stoked for the season ahead! Let’s do this!

She comes to us most recently from Stowe Resort in Vermont but this is a homecoming for her as she grew up in Summit County and has been on skis here since she was 2. Not only does she have a ton of experience running different facets of resort operations from the East Coast...
