I never heard of this solo dev and his game before today. But I looked it up and watched a replay of the launch event. It had me in tears, man. I'm so happy for the dude. No matter what indie scene you're in, this is what you hope for. You know when working on a project for years, chances are you'll never make a profit, ever. And still we do this. It's pure passion, persistance, and a spark of hope, no matter how faint. It's so cool to see a humble indie creator being rewarded for putting in the work, getting tremendous support from people who believe in him and what he made. The world needs more of this.
