the decision to leave the origins of this great ball of energy (Pg 2,panels #2 & 4) that is responsible for Jah's power ambiguous was intentional, as it ties directly to the 3rd act of this series

Second page of Super Dangerous #1 - in order to get to his true origin (Issues #1-2) I wanted to spend the least amount of time covering the "inception" of Jah Sanders the hero, and that's what we do over the next 2 pages

Here's the first page of Super Dangerous - definitely wanted to set the tone from the jump with this one and I think we executed perfectly. Issue #1 picks up approx 6 months after Jah receives his powers

I really do like alot of the expansion that Kirkman has given to Viltrum in the show, in showing that it's a fundamentally pitiful and doomed society only held together by the raw force of larger-than-life figures (Argall and Thragg) and lack of alternatives
