I understand the frustrations with therapists using TBands. But getting rid of bands in your clinic isn’t going to solve the problem of poor clinical reasoning.
I happen to love using bands...for a lot more than just strengthening.

@durand_lindsay Even if you are simply direct and honest (read: NOT blunt/rude, I mean sincere but still assertive), you get told to cool it or tone it down because now you’re “arrogant.” 😳 It feels like you can’t win!

First - in Michigan we could grocery shop and simply had to social distance - masks. Now another @GovWhitmer Executive Order requires face masks in all indoor spaces. She claims to follow the data - where is the data on this one?

Having a rough time today with the social aspect of PT school - as a 30+’er in a class of mostly 22’s, there’s a real awkward “how hard am I supposed to try at friendship” that’s become very apparent during this pandemic.

First, do no harm. Reduce community exposure by cancelling non-urgent/emergent F2F visits, sign up to help our colleagues on the front lines (ER, acute, long term and critical care units), do tele-Rehab whether or not you get paid; step up in times of crisis, that’s what we do.

Across the world, HCPs have taken varying precautionary measures to #FlattenTheCurve. In general, when there is an opportunity to practice social distancing, we encourage HCPs to do so. Also, “first do no harm” suggests HCPs should weigh risks of providing care versus not. 1/2
