Also, not sure if you’re aware, but in most cases these clauses come into play after controversial decisions or no contests , not when someone wins convincingly by stoppage like you did ..

Disappointed that people still don’t understand the game ,especially Frank’s tactics.
Watch the whole event… they were building a narrative all night with ref stoppages , just not in the last one where the ref had different instructions.

So, apparently we now know that the bias by so many referees in UK to protect British fighters is not rogue action by those refs. Apparently it is condoned by the British board. Given what Bates did in this match there is literally no other way to interpret this ruling. Of course this happens elsewhere in the world, including the U.S. and I call it out when I see it on the telecast if I’m doing it or just observing from afar. But in recent yrs it has been very pronounced in UK. Shameful this board did nothing to discipline this ref.
