@EdKrassen No, the worst part about this is him saying that those with learning disabilities are dumb. And again, I’m sure it won’t even register with anyone.

BREAKING: Donald Trump really just called Gavin Newsom “The President of the United States.” It’s getting embarrassing! He’s losing it faster than any of us have thought he would.

TRUMP IN ONE SINGLE EVENT -- "They won't be there for us" -- "We have some that are really enthusiastic. They're coming already." -- "This isn't 'need'" -- "If we need anything, they should be jumping to help us" -- "We want them to come and help us with the strait" -- My attitude is we don't need anybody"

Company asks for “proof of purchase”. How about the fact that I HAVE the product? Isn’t that proof enough?

Donald Trump attended one dignified transfer in a campaign merch hat, turned the photo into a fundraising email, and then skipped the next one entirely. While Sgt. Benjamin Pennington, 26, was coming home in a flag-draped coffin at Dover… Trump was at his f’ng golf club. But tell me again how much he “loves our troops” won’t you?

If this kind of weather...80°F+ is your thing, I really hope you were able to get out and enjoy it. Because I don't think you're going to see 80° again for 2 months - perhaps longer. I could be wrong, but I don't see it happening again (after tomorrow) through the end of April.

@WhiteHouse Or leave elections to the states as per the Constitution. I like that idea better. I’m ok to lobby the states for ID but this is not a federal issue

"Principles" are the things you uphold even when it's not to your personal advantage. For example, if you've ever espoused the principle of "States Rights", then of course you oppose the "SAVE Act" which overrides states rights. It doesn't matter if you want "Voter ID" laws. The principle dictates that it's up to each state to decide whether they want Voter ID laws. And in any case, the "SAVE Act" is far more than simple "Voter ID", but a whole scale invasion of the federal power into how state's run elections.

I often cringe at the whole thing about people from Massachusetts loving Dunkin as some sort of identity; it feels kind of corny and exaggerated. But then I also remember that growing up, my dad had a long-running gag to convince us kids that our car had a "Dunkin detector" that would beep whenever we passed a Dunkin, and the steering wheel would automatically turn (he would convincingly mime struggling to stop it from turning) into the Dunkin drive-thru for coffee and donuts

I don’t actually think the left got tricked by Fetterman. I think he had a stroke and it seriously changed his personality. It’s a tragedy not chicanery.

@Labslp @BasedMikeLee This is an issue that predates the post-COVID housing inflation. It's a cultural issue that has been brewing in Western Europe, Japan and the U.S. for nearly two generations.

🇺🇸 U.S. births (CDC preliminary data): January 2025: 303,686 babies January 2026: 289,085 babies That means this January we’re *down* by 14,601 babies—4.8% The numbers are sliding further down This has been happening year after year—for decades America needs to overcome the baby recession This is a critical issue for the future of our country

Iran has waged war against the United States, our Allies and our national security interests since 1979. Their attacks include the Beirut Marine Barracks and U.S. Embassy in 1983, the Khobar Towers in 1996, attempted assassination against our President, 609 Americans killed in Iraq and continued cyberattacks. I hate war, but Iran has been at war with us. After the regime just murdered approximately 50,000 Iranians, it is time to help the Iranian people get rid of the Ayatollah once and for all.

@GovernorShapiro Schools have implemented this policy at the local level. It’s much more effective that way. It’s not necessary for the state government to regulate. Quite frankly, it’s ridiculous and you should focus on matters that are not already addressed at local levels.

It’s time for us to get cell phones out of the classroom and create a healthier environment for both our teachers and our kids. That’s why I called on the State Legislature to send a bill to my desk requiring our schools to implement a “bell-to-bell” cell phone ban, limiting distractions so that our teachers and students can focus on their learning. Our teachers, parents, and kids need us. Let’s get it done.

@GovernorShapiro As an educator, I applaud efforts to curb electronics usage but an all out ban will be a tough sell in this day and age. You also need to get the screens (chrome books etc) minimized during the day. This bill doesn’t seem to address this need.

🍌 🤡 A senator just tried to walk the administration into a basic reality check using the most harmless object in capitalism: a banana. “Tariff on bananas?” “Ten percent.” Then comes the part where real life rudely interrupts the talking points. Walmart has already pushed banana prices up 8 percent, which is exactly what you would expect when you tax an import-heavy staple and the cost ripples straight to the shelf. The response, though, is peak slogan economy: “Build in America and there’s no tariff.” Great. Fantastic. Inspirational. Also, bananas are not an app. You cannot onshore a tropical fruit into Ohio through grit, and a ribbon-cutting ceremony. So the exchange lands where it has to land: the policy pitch is “just make it in America,” but the product is literally “grown near the equator.” In other words, the tariff is not a clever negotiating tool in this case. It is just an added cost dressed up as patriotism, with a straight face and no banana plan.
