Less Survivable Cancers Taskforce

The Rare Cancers Act 2026 received Royal Assent on Friday - a major milestone for people affected by less survivable cancers. The Taskforce will continue working with government and partners across the UK to ensure this Act delivers real change.

Following the AGM, the APPG on Less Survivable Cancers held a spotlight session on treatment delays, exploring the systemic barriers patients face in accessing timely treatment, as well as the changes needed to improve access and outcomes.

This week, the APPG on Less Survivable Cancers held its AGM. We're delighted to announce the election of Chair @PauletteHamilto, Vice-Chair @cammaynard, and Officers - @danielmgmoylan and @JoshFG. The APPG will continue to work to improve outcomes for these cancers.
