An effort to criminalize the killing of animals for food in Oregon is a step closer to being on the November ballot. IP-28 would make it illegal to injure or kill animals and would effectively ban hunting, fishing and the breeding of animals. katu.com/news/local/ore…

I don’t care what you are. Republican, Democrat, independent, non-affiliated, Libertarian, disaffected… other. We should all be able to agree that Oregon has ventured too far from sanity in the last 40 years. The only way to bring SANITY back to Salem is to vote for someone other than the Democrat. Especially for Governor. As for me, I will be urging everyone to VOTE RED to bring Oregon back into balance!

As an Oregonian: Our rising costs on electricity, water & basics aren't because of Trump — they're from our own state's failed leadership. Oregon electricity rates are up ~50% since 2020 (PGE/Pacific Power), with another 5% hike in 2026 adding ~$8/month. Drivers? Green energy mandates, wildfire costs, grid upgrades for data centers, and bloated spending — not national policy. oregoncapitalchronicle.com Water/sewer bills climbing 6-8%+ yearly in places like Portland for "infrastructure" and operations. energyinfo.oregon.gov Our unemployment stuck at 5.2% (vs. national ~4.3%), with job losses in key sectors while the U.S. grows. State budget deficits force more taxes, regs & rate hikes to cover overspending. opb.org National inflation challenges exist (energy/groceries up amid global factors like the Iran conflict), but in Oregon, state Dem priorities — aggressive renewables, heavy regulation, unchecked admin bloat — hit families hardest.
