I can't get a government-issued photo ID without a certified copy of my birth certificate.

@DrunkRepub I’ll raise you and question why Lindsey’s sister is the right fit for the job. I think everyone should prove their citizenship to vote. That seems mandatory. But this poor girl has no government experience and she’s gonna vote like he did. But no one stacks the deck. Right?

@DrunkRepub It's easy for Americans to vote securely. We carry ID on us all the time and we all have documentation that proves we're citizens. There's easy methods to get copies if we lose them.
The hardest part of secure voting is actually getting up off our lazy asses to vote in person.

Last I checked, registering to vote took some effort. Might as well bring the required documents. I registered at 18yo and have only had to show my license since. For those talking about name changes, I do wonder — we turn in marriage licenses in my county at the county clerk where we also register to vote. What’s the procedure elsewhere?
