The number 1 thing pisses me off today is how every company realized they can still technically operate at the bare minimum if they run a skeleton crew for everything. So now every service sucks, both for the workers and the customers, and we can't do anything.

@HiddenYorkshire Yea, no...it's just bad CGI. The aliens themselves looked terrible also. E.T. from 40+ years ago legitimately looked more believable than anything in this film.

I'm not claiming Disclosure Day to be a masterpiece, but some of the criticism is excessive and reveals a basic lack of media literacy. Someone is recalling a traumatic childhood event where they were visited by strange creatures and it's set in a fairy tale cottage where the CGI looks weird? What do you think that might mean? Does it mean the studio couldn't afford good CGI, or was it trying to tell you something about the way we process traumatic childhood events which we don't understand? Use your brain a little. A lot of the criticism is from people simply refusing to engage with the film on its level and being outraged that they don't understand what it's trying to say. In some ways, you have to have a pretty high level of esoteric alien knowledge to really get all the meanings.

This movie was amazing to pretentious psuedo-intellectuals…
It had 0 interesting story, a misleading trailer, no interesting characters. Cheesey dialogue, a weak “villain” inconsistent action in characters.
It felt like it was trying to lead up to a big twist that never came, 0 explanation for why anything is happening to these characters and outside of the last 20 mins it overall was just one of the worst and most misleading films ever.
No one wanted to watch a b-movie soy thriller that wasn’t ever thrilling or mildly interesting

- He invented the summer blockbuster with Jaws in 1975 and is still the one to beat
The industry forgot how to make a film worth leaving the house for. He never did
