A month into the war with Iran, the Israeli military has almost completed bombing all of the targets it defined for itself at the start of the conflict, and has now been ordered by Israel’s political leadership to shift to targeting “economic” targets of the Iranian regime, The Times of Israel has learned. Israel’s defense establishment is now in what it described as the “completion phase” of the goals it set out at the start of the war, meaning it believes it has largely achieved its objectives of degrading Iran’s military capabilities and “creating the conditions” for the Iranian regime to fall. As the IDF has almost completed bombing all of Iran’s weapon production sites, Israeli leaders have ordered the military to carry out strikes on targets that cause economic blows to the Iranian regime. This included a strike on major Iranian gas infrastructure in the country’s south nearly two weeks ago, and strikes on two of Iran’s largest steel factories on Friday. In both cases, Israel aimed to cause massive economic damage to the Iranian regime. Additional such strikes against Iranian economic targets are planned by Israel’s defense establishment, aimed at causing more damage to the regime.

The amount of ink spilled by red-teamers & others across the interagency, in our world-class war colleges, within the intelligence community, Pentagon, etc. Reams of lessons learned from intricate war games & military simulations. All seemingly ignored. Massive own goal & hubris.

Impressive. Something like 70% of the total MC-130J fleet has been quietly passing through the UK en route to the CENTCOM AOR over the last couple weeks. Another strong indicator something big is being planned for Hormuz or inside Iran.
Armchair Admiral 🇬🇧@ArmchairAdml

#USAF United States Air Force - Iran War Special Operations Command / RAF Mildenhall 27 March - 0020z The build-up and transit of MC-130J Commando IIs at RAF Mildenhall has been ongoing since the start of March. So far, there have been at least 41 MC-130Js (excluding based aircraft) that have arrived at RAF Mildenhall. Of those 41, at least 11 have the Silent Knight modification. These aircraft have been arriving in the early hours of the morning and have largely been unmarked or had their tail numbers taped over. A few have been changing their callsigns on departure, and most have had 20+ passengers on their inbound flights. The first aircraft, 14-5805, arrived at Mildenhall on the 3rd of March as UNLIT 77, departed on the 24th as BZAIN 31 and then arrived back on the 25th again as BZAIN 31. In the past 24 hours there have been 15 MC-130Js departing. DACHA 11/12/13 and LAPEL 23/25/27 departed on the 26th and 25th, although I'm not sure what callsign they arrived under, nor their identity. AGREE 35/41/45, PILUM 53/55 and SWASH 03/05/07/11 all departed on the 26th of March, leaving behind SWASH 09 which had a bird strike on landing on the 23rd March. Three AC-130s remain at RAF Lakenheath, along with a single USMC KC-130 which arrived from MCAS Miramar. 📸 @havoc_aviation @MATA_osint @DefenceGeek @sipjack1776 @TheIntelFrog @Andyyyyrrrr @vcdgf555 @sentdefender @Osinttechnical @FaytuksNetwork @Faytuks @Andyyyyrrrr @haynesdeborah

Ukraine has been carrying out a concerted campaign to degrade and destroy Russian air defences that looks to have been incredibly successful. Ukrainian drones are now able to fly nearly 1,000km through Russian airspace all the way to Leningrad oblast to strike targets there.
Kyle Glen@KyleJGlen

This claim that Ukraine are firing drones through Poland and the Baltics to avoid Russian airspace is nothing more than delusional cope. It took me 10 minutes to find Russian Telegram channels reporting launches from Chernihiv followed by alerts in Bryansk, Smolensk, Pskov and Leningrad Oblasts. The claim that they just "appear" in Leningrad is provably false. Image attached shows the rough path the drones would take to go through these Oblasts.

Col. William Parker, Air & Missile Defense-CFT: "What we are observing in Ukraine is I emit, I get targeted, I die." He explains that the solution to this is staying mobile. Assets left stationary for too long, especially while emitting signals, will be destroyed. 10/25

Ukraine is targeting Leningrad Oblast in what seems to be a multi day strike campaign. Oil infrastructure and ports seem to be the focus outside of St.Petersburg air defence zone. At least Primorsk, Ust-Luga and Vyborg were hit outside of the city. x.com/Gerashchenko_e…
Anton Gerashchenko@Gerashchenko_en

Drones attacked the port of Ust-Luga in Russia’s Leningrad region. Preliminary reports say the NOVATEK Ust-Luga plant was hit. The facility processes stable gas condensate - a byproduct of oil and gas production - and exports petroleum products to international markets.

I’m choosing my words carefully here—I have concerns putting our troops into this sort of environment, without prior c-uas testing in a high density combat environment or more direct learning from the AFU. Please factor c-UAS into these deliberations. nytimes.com/2026/03/23/us/…

Jamming-resistant, high-bandwidth links like Starlink don't just improve deep strike UAVs. They unlock entirely new concepts of operations, like hunting mobile high-value targets. Iran's Shaheds get a lot of attention, but they're already a generation behind what's possible.

Great insight here from @LizHurra. Indeed more useful to think in terms of cells, personal networks, and the Iranian-supplied drone systems and other capabilities they can access and deploy rather than in terms of numbered PMF brigades or even the ‘big six’ Special Groups.
Elizabeth Tsurkov@LizHurra

Marked change in policy by the Trump Administration in dealing with the pro-Iranian Iraqi militias. The US struck several militia locations around Mosul, notably on the guest house of Faleh al-Fayyadh, the head of the "Popular Mobilization Forces," the umbrella group of Iraqi militias. The PMF was established after the 2014 invasion of Iraq by ISIS, made up of pre-existing Iranian-backed militias, as well as newly created militias of volunteer who joined the fight against ISIS. The PMF numbers about 250,000 members formally (many in fact are ghost soldiers) and includes militias not loyal to Iran, such as ones loyal to Grand Ayatollah al-Sistani, and the Sadrist Saraya a-Salam. 6 of the PMF's militias, all of them established with the support of the Iranian regime, are proscribed terrorist groups in the US. Until the ongoing war, the US policy differentiated between the PMF and the 6 proscribed militias. However, this war showed that the Iranian-backed militias control the infrastructure of the PMF too, and utilize it for striking US interests. This is no surprise, as the Chief of Staff of the PMF, Abu Fadak, is a senior Kataeb Hezbollah commander. Thus, the more hardline groups, Kataeb Hezbollah, Harakat al-Nujabaa' and Kataeb Seyyed a-Shuhadaa', utilize bases of different PMF militias (including Sunni ones!) and networks loyal to Iran within militias that publicly adopted a more conciliatory tone, to strike US interests. This is something confirmed to me by Iraqi security sources. In response, the Trump Administration is launching attacks on the PMF infrastructure, moving away from the distinction between the PMF and the pro-Iranian militias that actually control the PMF.

Operation Epic Fury 23rd March 2026 Geolocation Thread 🧵 Please share if you find this interesting - our reach is utterly terrible, whilst AI slop does exceedingly well. A large geolocation catch up over the weekend took place, and adding in many new geolocations (over 1800 geolocations now) from the geolocators who publish their work for free. We'll start with image 1, showing ammunition storage at Dezful / Vahdati airbase going up in a huge explosion. We'll also include Sirjan Naval Training base ammo going up which we received this morning. It looks like the target list has now reached ammo depots - so expect more of this. Zooming in slightly, we'll go to Qom, where atop the regime buildings being struck, we also received higher res imagery of what was struck in Shokohieh industrial town and nearby, which was a Turbine plant for missiles and drones. The nearby airstrip was also struck. Onto Tehran, which is very much filling out, we received more imagery from the missile production plant east of Tehran that was struck in the early days, showing more destruction and included CENTCOMs imagery of strikes on the Missile Final Assembly buildings, showing destruction. The geolocation thread 🧵(21 posts) follows
