Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala- Sahad Mohammed had been persistently stalking a girl(16) despite her repeatedly rejecting his proposal. She is a plus two student. On Tuesday, he arrived in a car and waited near the girl’s house. When she stepped out to collect a book from a nearby location, he allegedly intercepted her in a secluded area and attacked her with a knife. Sahad Mohammed stabbed the girl in the neck for rejecting his romantic advances around 12.30pm at Kanyakulangara near Vattappara on Tuesday(16Jun26). Hearing the girl’s cries for help, locals rushed in and took her to hospital. Sahad fled in his car. The girl’s condition is stable. Sahad who hails from Panavoor, has been arrested. From TOI

Damoh, Madhya Pradesh- Sahil Khan, a resident of the Jabalpur Naka area, had lured the Hindu girl into a relationship by posing as Sahil Lala. Last year, he attended a Hindu religious event sporting a tilak on his forehead and a kalava (sacred thread) on his wrist. The girl discovered Sahil's true identity—that 'Sahil Lala' was actually Sahil Khan—after a few months and severed all ties with him. Nevertheless, Sahil persisted. He claimed he would renounce Islam and convert to Hinduism, even asserting that he would visit Bageshwar Dham for the conversion. However, the girl saw through his ploy and distanced herself from him. Fearing social stigma and Sahil's threats, she remained silent, and her family also refrained from taking action. On Sunday night, he arrived at the girl's house and created a massive disturbance—something he had done previously. He threatened the family with death and demanded that the minor girl be forcibly married to him. Distressed by Sahil's actions, the victim's family contacted local Hindu organizations. Accompanied by members of these groups, they visited the Kotwali police station and lodged a formal complaint on Monday night and a case was registered against Sahil Khan.
