@JayPrashanth Good to know but why can’t they make a good engine themselves ? Maruti would buy 1.3 - 1.5 liter diesel engines, TATA buys the 2 liter diesel engine from JEEP / FIAT. JEEP needs a 1.5 - 2 liter petrol engine for its Compass!! Huge market for engines in India!! Un-tapped.

Nearly every Mercedes Benz car sold in India comes with an engine produced by Force Motors at its Chakan factory near Pune. Force Motors just handed over the 200,000th engine to Mercedes Benz. It was a M256 straight six turbo petrol engine that's used in cars like the Mercedes Benz S-Class. The 200,000th motor went to a GLS 450. Force Motors also produces engines for BMW at a different factory in Chennai. Force has built over 1 lakh engines for BMW, too. It even makes large, 10 cylinder and 12 cylinder industrial engines for Rolls Royce. Did you know that the OM616 diesel engine that the Tempo (Force) Traveller used is a Mercedes Benz engine? Force Motors later came up with re-engineered versions of this engine for the Gurkha, Travellers and Traxes, called FM2.6 and OM611. @CarToq

@SonarBangla2026 You need to increase your IQ before you post! West Bengal produces 7.8 million ( 1 million = 1,000,000) tons of jute per year. Enough to re-open 10 large scale jute mills. Fancy ID but no brains is a bad combo!!

I initially thought it would be great, but where will jute raw materials come from? Bangladesh? But no, India's relationship with Bangladesh has significantly deteriorated. Then how can factories run without raw materials? As we know, Bengal lost 3/4th of its jute fields to East Pakistan during the 1947 Partition of Bengal. But till 1971, East Pakistan was under the subordination of West Pakistan. They never bother about the well-being of East Pakistan. So, despite the implementation of the Freight Equalisation Policy, which disregarded the industrial potential of Eastern states. Jute industries were still operational, supplied with raw materials from East Pakistan. Finally, soon after Bangladesh gained independence, its leadership sought to establish its own jute industries, which eventually led to the closure of several jute mills in West Bengal, and many people lost their jobs, and the poverty rate of West Bengal rose to the third highest in India by the 1970s, which was also boosted by mass war refugee influx from East Pakistan. Thanks to the Left Front government's land reform efforts, which significantly reduced the poverty rate.
Megh Updates 🚨™@MeghUpdates

🚨 Just IN 🚨 Just 38 days after taking office in West Bengal, the BJP government has REOPENED a jute mill that had been shut down. — The move has RESTORED jobs for around 2,000 workers and their families.

@TheMilObserverr “DRDO building” is a scary word. The DATRAN 1500, Scorpene AIP battery, AESA radar are some examples of the same. Wake me up when it is built, tested & in production by which time T90 tank will become obsolete.

India is building an indigenous Active Protection System for its tank fleet. 🇮🇳 Ukraine changed how every army looks at tank survivability. India is responding. And here is what DRDO is actually building.👇 • Hard kill and soft kill combined in one system • Four X-band radars providing full 360 degree coverage • Two traversable launchers each carrying two anti-threat munitions • Intercepts threats travelling at speeds exceeding 1,500 metres per second • Counters ATGMs, RPGs, drones and top attack weapons • Designed for T-90 Bhishma and Arjun Mk1A India operates more than 1,200 T-90 tanks. Not one currently fields an indigenous Active Protection System. That gap is becoming harder to ignore. The lesson from Ukraine was not that tanks are obsolete. It was that tanks without protection against modern missiles and drones are increasingly vulnerable. India appears determined not to learn that lesson on the battlefield. 🇮🇳

@TheMilObserverr It has already evaded to be seen or inaugurated for 2.5 years now! Now I understood it is due to stealth that it cannot be seen. Can you ask HAL when this will be unveiled, when it will do its first flight ? Not that HAL’s word means much as showed by Mk1A production.

🇮🇳 India's Tejas Mk2 is 75 percent harder to detect on radar than the jet it replaces. ADA's Project Director confirmed the Mk2's frontal radar cross section is just one fourth of the Mk1A. That is a massive stealth leap for a 4.5 generation fighter. Here is how they achieved it 👇 • Retractable refuelling probe replacing the fixed one on Mk1A, removing a major radar reflector • Indigenous Adrishya RAM coatings developed by CSIR-NAL absorbing X band radar waves • Far greater use of composites across the airframe using techniques learned directly from the AMCA programme • Internal weapons bay keeps missiles hidden from radar during cruise • Maiden flight now targeted for mid 2026 This is not a stealth fighter. But it is the hardest 4.5 generation jet to detect that India has ever built. 🇮🇳 Tejas Mk2 does not need to be invisible. It just needs to be seen last.

After failing to pressure India through backchannels, international lobbying and even arbitration forums, Pakistan is now taking its Indus Waters campaign to Brussels. A conference backed by Pakistan’s embassy and a European think tank will attempt to portray Islamabad as a victim while conveniently ignoring the reason India suspended the treaty in the first place: Pakistan-sponsored terrorism. If Pakistan had invested half as much effort in dismantling terror infrastructure as it has in narrative operations, there would be no Indus Waters crisis to discuss. #IndusWatersTreaty #Pakistan #Brussels

@Indian_Analyzer You can build a radar that can track a F35 or an F22 in India but you cannot make the Indian Army buy it. They will demand the radar needs to track a mosquito while they will go and buy an Israeli radar that can track a F16 only. Just the way things are in India.

🚨 HUGE! India’s indigenous "Arudhra" radar has shown simulated capability to TRACK an F-35 stealth fighter 🤯 This was a computer-based simulation. Actual live detection of a real F-35 has not yet been carried out. Key capabilities: - Instrumented range: up to 400 km - Can detect targets with 2 sqm radar cross-section at 300 km A significant milestone in India’s quest for advanced indigenous radar systems 🔥 Atmanirbhar defence tech making steady progress! 🇮🇳

Turkish businesswoman Canan Çelebioğlu: We entered India and became the largest ground handling company there. I was obsessed with India — I called it my second country. Last year, around May 15th, the Indian government shut us down. They seized all our equipment, transferred 10,000 employees to another company in a single day — and wiped out a value we had built of perhaps $400–500 million. Gone in one day. Put the financial loss aside. That place was built stitch by stitch. We spent years pushing the government to change policies, to develop the sector. And I loved India. That's what made it so shocking. It truly devastated us.
