Yes, yes. Sanatan Dharma tells about that ocean. The ocean name is Ksheer-sagar where Kshirodakshayi Vishnu lies on Anant Sesa. What NASA and West is finding out now is there in Vedic literatures. That’s why the greatest astrophysicist of all time, Carl Sagan said that " The Hindu religion is the only one of the world’s great faiths dedicated to the idea that the Cosmos itself undergoes an immense, indeed an infinite, number of deaths and rebirths. It is the only religion in which the time scales correspond to those of modern scientific cosmology. Its cycles run from our ordinary day and night to a day and night of Brahma, 8.64 billion years long. Longer than the age of the Earth or the Sun and about half the time since the Big Bang."

A cosmic ocean exists where no human has ever sailed. Astronomers have detected a water cloud 12 billion light-years away, holding an astonishing 140 trillion times the water in all of Earth’s oceans combined. It is a discovery so vast that it stretches the imagination, challenging our sense of scale and reminding us how tiny our world truly is. This cloud, seen in the early universe, hints at a time when galaxies were forming and black holes were already shaping their surroundings. The sheer quantity of water suggests that the ingredients for life are not confined to our solar system — they exist in unimaginable abundance, waiting silently in the cosmos. Scientists are stunned not only by the scale but also by the implications. Water, essential to life as we know it, appears in massive quantities even in the distant past, meaning that the universe may have been capable of supporting habitable conditions far earlier than previously imagined. Every observation opens a new window into the chemistry of the early cosmos. Looking at such a cloud evokes both wonder and humility. The enormity of space, the age of light reaching our telescopes, and the invisible forces shaping galaxies remind us that discovery often comes cloaked in awe. This water cloud is a monument to the mysteries that remain, whispering of worlds and possibilities we have yet to encounter. And so we are left with a quiet reflection: billions of light-years away, water flows in quantities beyond comprehension, reminding us that the universe is filled with secrets that continue to stretch the limits of human curiosity.

In Sanātana Dharma, the depiction of Lakshmi massaging the feet of Vishnu is often misunderstood when viewed through a material or social lens. It is not a statement of subordination, but a profound expression of divine love, unity, and spiritual truth. According to śāstra, there is only one Supreme Puruṣa (enjoyer)—Bhagavān—and everything else is Prakṛti (energy). As stated in the Bhagavad Gita (7.5): apareyam itas tv anyāṁ prakṛtiṁ viddhi me parām “Besides this inferior nature, O Arjuna, there is a superior energy of Mine…” All living beings—whether male or female in this world—are in essence prakṛti, the energy of the Lord. The jīva (ātmā) is described as the marginal energy of Bhagavān. Thus, spiritually speaking, we are all in the position of being maintained by and meant to serve the Supreme. Śrī Lakṣmī Devī is not an ordinary “female”—she is the eternal divine energy (śakti) of the Lord. The relationship between Lakṣmī and Viṣṇu is that of Śakti and Śaktimān (energy and energetic). As expressed in the Vishnu Purana: śakti-śaktimator abhedaḥ “There is no difference between the energy and the possessor of the energy.” Thus, Lakṣmī massaging the feet of Viṣṇu is not servitude born of inequality—it is loving devotional service (seva), the highest expression of divine intimacy. In the spiritual realm, service is not demeaning; it is the very essence of love. Even more importantly, this principle applies to all souls. As Krishna declares in the Bhagavad Gītā (5.29): bhoktāraṁ yajña-tapasāṁ sarva-loka-maheśvaram “I am the supreme enjoyer and the Lord of all worlds.” Therefore: There is only one Puruṣa—Bhagavān Everyone else—regardless of bodily gender—is Prakṛti True spiritual identity is not male or female, but eternal servant of the Divine Lakṣmī Devī’s service is not subordination—it is the highest exalted position, embodying pure प्रेम (divine love) and complete harmony with the Supreme. In fact, in Vaiṣṇava understanding, to serve Bhagavān is not a lower position—it is the ultimate perfection and freedom of the soul.

@RadharamnDas Just hv a problem with the pic.. always Devi is shown at his feet .. where is it portrayed in scriptures that she’s at his feet? These kind of paintings translate into social expectations, do subtle mind programming.

Yes Spiritual sky can't be perceived by material senses. But nothing wrong in comparing any scientific find which is similar to what is in Vedas. Science has to understand that sense perceptions are not perfect because our senses are not perfect and prone to minimum find kinds of defects

@RadharamnDas Every old culture from China to Australia to Peru had a name for milky way, because in an era without light pollution, milky way is the easiest and largest structure you can spot in night sky. All cultures made stories about it.

Acchaa. Vedas does not need any validation from anyone. Sanatan Dharma is highest science. Best is to follow Sanatan Dharma blindly. Our senses are limited and prone to 5 kinds of defects. So anyway with these limited senses nan cannot uncover the reality of whole cosmic manifestation

@RadharamnDas A water cloud 12 billion light-years away just validated what Hindu Dharma whispered for millennia water is cosmic, life is universal, and the universe is conscious. Science and Dharma aren’t opposites. They’re converging.

This cosmic manifestation (the material world/universe) is also Your body. This total lump of matter is agitated by Your potent energy known as kāla-śakti (time potency), and thus the three modes of material nature are manifested. You awaken from the bed of Śeṣa (Ananta Shesha) in the waters (the cosmic ocean), when Your mystic slumber (yoga-nidrā) ended. From Your navel there appeared a great lotus flower, exactly as a gigantic banyan tree grows from a tiny seed.
