Dec. 5 1976 was the premiere of Bound For Glory. Hal Ashby’s superb bio of Woody Guthrie focuses on his attempts to humanize the tragic Dust Bowl refugees moving to California; David Carradine does a fine job as Guthrie, while Haskel Wexler’s cinematography is simply phenomenal.
