This is interesting, but how many truly great QBs did Parcells draft? And he didn’t draft Simms or Hostetler. George Young did that.

Bill Parcells' 7 requirements for drafting QBs out of college include... 1. Are they coming out as a senior? 2. Did they graduate college? 3. Were they a 3-year starter in college? 4. Did they have 30+ college starts? 5. Did they win 23+ games in college? 6. Did they have a career 60+% COMP% in college? 7. Did they have a career 2:1 TD/INT ratio in college? This year, 7 QBs prospects meet all of this criteria:⬇️ - Drew Allar - Carson Beck - Taylen Green - Cade Klubnik - Luke Altmyer - Diego Pavia - Behren Morton None of the QBs inside the top 100 on the consensus big board (Mendoza, Simpson, Nussmeier) meet all these requirements 😂

@MaskedAttorney Generally, the answer is yes. In particular, the more you play in college, the better chance you have. But there are always exceptions, like Kurt Warner.

@JasonCole62 Yeah Ben was an aberration. High level qb going to a team with great run game and great defense and excellent coaching from Whishenaut.

There’s no hard and fast rule for guys and you can add Ben Roethlisberger, Bo Nix and Jayden Daniel’s. Even Robert Giriffin had his best year as a rookie. But you can wreck guys, too. Like David Carr. Question is if you can protect the QB consistently

A woman is having a funeral for her husband when a strange man walks in and sits up front. Toward the end of the service, he turns toward the wife and asks, “Would you mind if I get up and say a word?”
“Of course,” she replies.
He stands up in front of the crowd, and says, “Plethora.”
He returns to his seat, and the wife leans over and says, “Thank you. That means a lot.”
Then another man comes over to the wife, leans down, and says, “ I have something to add, if that’s OK…”
The wife beams, “Yes…please.”
The man bends to the microphone and says, “Bargain.”
The wife murmurs, “Thank you. That means a great deal.”
Amazingly, a third man approaches the wife and asks, “May I say two words?”
She nods her approval.
The man makes his way to the front and says nervously into the microphone, “Water pit.”
The wife looks in his direction, and slightly smiles, “Thanks. I know you meant well.”
Last, a man gets up and walks directly to the microphone without asking and says loudly, “Being alive!”
The wife replies, “He would’ve liked that.”
