Seemingly unpopular opinion? but if a player is training without effort and turning up late, then yes he should be dropped. Regardless of skill. Standards have to be kept. Playing him despite a bad attitude and work ethic off the pitch will not help matters.

All this if we didn’t have McGoldrick we would be relegated bollocks, are you really that thick? We have got him! If we didn’t have Redfearn we would never have been in the Prem (remember that youth?). Hammill or Winnall 10 years ago? Moore or Woodrow 7 years ago? We had them!!!

Sad to see in this day and age that an ex footballer who won absolutely nothing in his whole career except 1 potm is given a platform to lambast a player (Phil Foden) who he could not hold a candle to. He should hang his sorry head in shame. Unbelievable.

I’ll also add Hourihane to that 10 years ago too! Remember him? The only captain in our 139 years that has lifted a trophy at Wembley…..he’s done in twice by the way!

@MattRWarren75 @Bambitoooo The only stat in football that matters is wins or losses to be honest mate. So yes Goals scored is irrelevant if we're winning less games than drawing it losing.
As points are the only thing that will get you promoted or relegated.
