#Dhurandhar2 (again) uses mistranslation of Bhagvat Gita shloka. 2.47 BG doesn’t say anything about upholding Dharma, claiming reward, and fighting in battlefield relentlessly. No words in Sanskrit shloka describe this. Right side is an (not ‘the’) authentic translation by Ganguli. PS- One can always add his understanding as a commentary, not as a translation. @MisraNityanand @AdityaDharFilms @6amiji

I am not objecting the use of Shloka itself. This is a nice move. When it is used, please be faithful to translation and use books rather than generative AI or some learner. Krishna doesn’t ask Arjuna to be relentless in war; instead he talks about clearing mind and avoid indecision due to result. Overall meaning is also not correct.

The Gujarat government on Wednesday introduced a landmark bill in the state assembly to replace religion-specific personal laws with a single Uniform Civil Code governing marriage, divorce, succession, live-in relationships, and related matters for all residents of the state. The proposed code, however, will not apply to members of Scheduled Tribes under the Constitution or to communities whose customary rights are protected under Part XXI of the Constitution. The bill was introduced by Deputy Chief Minister Harsh Sanghvi. Union Cabinet Minister, Kiren Rijiju has stated earlier that even if a Uniform Civil Code (UCC) is implemented at the national level, it will not be made applicable to tribal states in the North-East. Meanwhile, Home Minister Amit Shah has stated that, for now, the focus will be on state-level implementation, with BJP-ruled states continuing to introduce UCC-like legislations on the lines of Uttarakhand’s model after extensive stakeholder consultations, rather than pursuing a nationwide implementation at this stage.

@GujaratiWatch મંત્રોને કપડાં પર લખવા અયોગ્ય છે, ખાસ કરીને જ્યારે આ કપડાં પહેરીને હાજતે પણ જવાતું હોય. આ જ કારણે—જ્ઞાનાવરણીય કર્મ રોકવા—જૈનો મોટેભાગે કોઈ પણ અક્ષર વિનાના કપડાં પહેરે છે. ત્યારે મંત્રોને આવી રીતે છાપવા અને પહેરવા અયોગ્ય છે.

This is disturbing and unacceptable. Have people lost the basic common sense these days or they are doing it purposely. Navkar Mahamantra is not a design, not a fashion element, not something to be casually printed on clothing to wear it .It is one of the most sacred prayers in Jainism . Reducing it to a decorative print on a kurta shows a complete lack of awareness and sensitivity towards jainism. Sacred mantras are meant to be respected, recited, and lived not worn casually, folded, or disrespected in daily use. Would anyone dare to treat symbols of other religions in this manner? Then why this repeated casualness towards Jain sentiments? This is not about hate — this is about basic respect. We strongly object to such misuse of our sacred mantra and urge creators, designers, and individuals to be more mindful and responsible. Faith is not aesthetics. It is devotion. Let’s preserve its dignity. #RespectJainism #NavkarMantra #jain

સમસ્યા જાણવી એક વાત છે અને તેના સમાધાન માટે નક્કર પ્રયાસો કરવા એ બીજી. આ આપિયાને માત્ર પહેલામાં જ રસ છે. રોજ સંસદમાં જઈને એ મિડલ ક્લાસ સંબંધિત એકાદ મુદ્દો ઉઠાવી દે છે, એના ચેલા ચપાટાઓ પછી રીલ બનાવીને ફરતી કરી દે છે. બીજા દિવસે નવો ટોપિક. આગલા મુદ્દાનું શું થયું એની સાથે કોઈ નિસ્બત નહીં. અબુધ સમર્થકોને લાગે છે કે આ તેમના માટે લડી રહ્યો છે. વાસ્તવમાં એણે ઉઠાં ભણાવવાની સરસ ટ્રિક શોધી કાઢી છે.
