Minder (Original Theme) Beginning in 1979 and starring George Cole and Dennis Waterman, this classic comedy-drama was nominated three times at the BAFTAs. Dennis Waterman left in 1989 but the series returned in '91 for a further 3 years with Gary Webster alongside George Cole.

@FXMC1957 My very 1st memory is of my mum finding out he had died (I was about 18 months). It stuck in my head I think simply because she was so shocked. As a massive fan of Porridge as I got older, I really came to appreciate his talent.

19 March 1979. Popular comedy actor Richard Beckinsale died suddenly (aged 31). It was later discovered he had an undiagnosed congenital heart defect. He had starred in a number of popular comedy sitcoms in the 1970s, most notably, The Lovers, Porridge and Rising Damp.

Oceanic - Insanity (#TOTP 1991) 35 years ago! Classic 90s dance anthem. The debut single of the Merseyside-based trio with Jorinde Williams as lead singer. One of the top 10 best-selling British singles of 1991, peaking at #3 on the chart. From their album That Compact Disc.

John Ringham in classic Terry's Chocolate Orange advert from 1983 (Raiders of the Lost Ark parody) Ha now who can remember this ad? It all looked brilliant and magical as a 4 year old at the time.😂Loved it! John Ringham was a brilliant character actor & I never forgot this ad!

Captain Jack Harkness our beloved Jack Russell has gone. He waited until i came home and he died peacefully in his dada’s arms within an hour of my return with @scottmale Dixie and Tito around him. He was a good boy, a loyal friend and our Jackamo for 18 years. We are very sad but grateful he died of old age and did not suffer. . #love #dog #companion #friend #loyalty

N-Trance - Set You Free (#TOTP 1995) One of the best-ever dance tracks from the #90s. Written after a night out at the Hacienda in Manchester, the group were credited for writing & producing. The '95 remix featuring the lead vocals of Kelly Llorenna was the best IMO.
