We were developing our Report Writing skills whilst experimenting with liquids and gases.

We are so excited to begin our new class novel, Llama Out Loud. We are developing our prediction skills and sharing our thoughts by discussing and answering key questions. We can choose which questions we want to answer.

Our Discovery Challenges are back, based on the children’s interests. It was our choice to explore Space. Here we are using Makedo to build a rocket, conduct our balloon rocket experiment and research Space news stories on Newsround. @OurRightsKPS Article 12, Pupil Voice.

We are enjoying exploring different aspects of science for British Science Week. We used AR to learn about the Big Bang and we have been testing our reactions during our biology focus. @Kinneil_PS @OurRightsKPS Article 28

♻️ 📚 Adopt a Book 📚 ♻️ On Thursday pupils will have the chance to take home a ‘new’ book. We are looking for donations of 1 or 2 books from home that you think someone else in your class would enjoy. Please bring in any books by Wednesday. @Kinneil_PS

P4 were developing their instructional writing whilst enjoying a healthy Leek and Potato Soup. Article 27, the right to healthy food @Kinneil_PS @MsGraham_KPS

Primary 4 explored the concept of Dignity and enjoyed discussing a range of examples of how we can treat each other with dignity. @MsGraham_KPS

We looked at where foods come from in the context of Scottish produce. We chose to research a Scottish food or drink product, wrote a persuasive description of the product of our choice and then we spent our vouchers purchasing the favourite food or drink that sounded the best.

Yesterday we learnt how to write a short script. Today we are peer assessing by reading each others scripts and checking them against the success criteria. @Kinneil_PS
