Toddlers are cunning geniuses. Ours should be going to bed but keeps coming out with one of his beloved Hot Wheels at a time saying “Don’t want it in my room.” This is an excellent tactic bc we all know he’s going to demand each one back again, painstakingly, one at a time.

@MatthewBevan @JamColley I am 57 and I say “Poor Incy” not “the spider”. I am not sure whether my nursery rhyme knowledge has been altered since childhood but if it has been, I credit Play School. And for that I am not sorry. Play School is the best.

I drag the bin in & it was covered in so many redback spiders My most hated & reviled spider & I had to do the adulting thing & spray them, clean off their sticky webs & hose the bin down. And then a pregnant mother redback scurried out.

I've been reading #LessonsInChemistry for the last fortnight & I loved it. It was the perfect book for me at this point in my life & I don't care it is probably anachronistic. It was a fairytale & I'm looking forward to watching the TV adaption

Miss 4 is sitting quietly circling her “Wishlist” from the Scholastic Book Club catalogue and I’m having some massive flashbacks to the primary school Book Fairs they used to run in the 90s. Are they still a thing?
