These are the five liberal Western laws that are spreading across the Muslim world, destroying marriage, and forcing all men (and women) into fornication. 1. Is it permissible in Islam to give up one’s rightful share of inheritance after the passing of parents? My husband believes that he does not want anything from his parents’ wealth. He loves them deeply and sincerely, but he feels no desire to take his share and is willing to give it to his siblings instead. However, I feel conflicted about this. We have children, and I worry about their future. While we have always supported and cared for his parents out of goodwill, not for material gain, I wonder whether it is fair or responsible to forgo his rightful share entirely. Is it justifiable for a person to make such a decision if it could impact the financial well-being of their spouse and children? I am confused and would sincerely appreciate guidance on this matter from an Islamic perspective.
