@MinnesotaMillea interesting take. Everyone’s life especially around the holidays varies. Pros: spend time with family/accommodate travel plans. Gives athletes(and coaches) a break from the grind! Cons: loss of competitive opportunities. Structure and schedules are a good thing for kids.

My annual thought this time of year: High school sports competitions should be shut down from Christmas through New Year's. Your thoughts?
