@fminj001@Dataracer117 Actually yes and it was clean, but only one would be involved in some contreversies during UEFA Champions League after the World Cup, but nothing weird besides that
Brazilian FIFA referee Rafeal Claus - who gave the US a ridiclous red card today - was accused of match fixing by "irregular red cards" in Brazil's Series A in 2023.
Claus had to testify in the investigation, but evaded charges bc of no direct evidence. FIFA stays corrupt AF.
I’ve watched almost all of every game of this World Cup and no play like that, which wasn’t even a yellow, was upgraded to a red.
Complete bullshit. And impacts the USA now and next game too, if they advance. Way to go FIFA. Well done.
@fadde@Yyy71743075 The red is actually valid tho, we know he didn't meant to but it's a red card foul because that could be a really dangerous injury. Specially in a sport were your legs are everything
@NYJ_Matt Not really, no politician, not even the President of the U.S., can influence what FIFA does. At most, they can review it again or make a rare exception if they see they were wrong, but that very rarely happens
@WickedFoam@HumanParsnip@DudespostingWs@NFL Honestly, it's like talking to a child who can't handle disagreement. You're clearly convinced you're right, so there's nothing more to discuss. Take care
@Mutafukas@HumanParsnip@DudespostingWs@NFL The NFL has the funds and logistics to make all stadiums grass, plain and simple. You are absolutely defending the NFL. They choose not to because they rather let players be injured and keep the cash
This reporter explains the insane process of turning American football stadiums into natural-grass soccer fields for the World Cup.
Some of these stadiums normally use artificial turf, but FIFA requires World Cup matches to be played on natural grass.
@WickedFoam@HumanParsnip@DudespostingWs@NFL You're arguing possibility. I'm arguing practicality. Those aren't the same thing. If you want to keep insulting me or accuse me of defending the NFL, go ahead. You still haven't made a single solid argument. I'm not defending them. I just don't agree which is different
@WickedFoam@HumanParsnip@DudespostingWs@NFL I know you’re being disrespectful, but soccer stadiums are only used for soccer, not other events. That’s what makes it cheaper for other leagues. That’s what I’ve been trying to explain to you. 🤦♂️
@Mutafukas@HumanParsnip@DudespostingWs@NFL Bruh… football is played around the world in real grass ! It’s not like the game is played every 4 years 😭😭 duuuuummmbaasssss
@WickedFoam@HumanParsnip@DudespostingWs@NFL You're comparing different use cases. Soccer stadiums aren't the same as multi-purpose NFL venues with year-round events. That's LITERALLY the whole point.
@WickedFoam@HumanParsnip@DudespostingWs@NFL Baseball stadiums prove my point. Concerts damage natural grass, and teams spend time and money repairing it afterward. Just because they can host concerts doesn't mean it's easy or cheap. I'm not defending the NFL it would be worst for fans and players.
@Mutafukas@HumanParsnip@DudespostingWs@NFL You realize the grass can be picked up and moved to maintain quality right ? And you do realize concerts are also played at baseball stadiums which majority use real grass. I have no idea why your dumbass is defending the NFL. Players and fans are tired of ACL breaking turf
