The #ICJ exonerated @UNRWA & rejected Israel's baseless claims of Hamas involvement. The ICJ demanded #UNRWA gets to work in Gaza to mitigate the impact of genocide. UN member states must apply sanctions (economic, military, diplomatic) if Israel refuses to comply.

We had an excellent meeting and are hoping that Turkey will move from an open investigation to a trial in absentia of the Myanmar junta, which is committing genocide against a defenseless Muslim population.

Agreed. It's also about the UN's amateurish comms strategy. I was on Al Jazeera shortly after the quake & before me was an official from @WFP boasting about their food distributions in Nay Pyi Daw. It seems the only audience the @UNinMyanmar cares about is the junta.

@MyanmarAProject @WFP @WFPChief @WFP_Media @UNinMyanmar Yes. The UN is in a tough spot when it has to deliver aid in junta-controlled areas, but at a minimum they should be fully transparent about how much aid is going where and what restrictions they are facing.
