Using one word, how would you describe your year so far?

I am a Service Dog! I have made my Mom’s life a possibility. With me beside her she earned a degree in neuroscience, started a company to advocate for others with service dogs in STEM, and recovered from a brain injury. She says I saved her life. Side-by-side we are partners.

I have always found this to be a rather precarious activity. My cat spends his time "hunting" and "killing" rogue hair bands -- yet that somehow seems less pointless.
