@VonKujon Peni does have a very Tron bonne-esque silhouette here, but if I remember right i'm pretty sure the tachikoma are literally described as being spider like in some way so i'm willing to bet that's the deliberate reference.

The eva inspired design would be far more interesting to see in this type of game and this is coming from someone who heavily dislikes eva

This whole "Eva" inspiration being backed up by some collective unconscious feelings towards mecha is why Rival's depiction of Peni feels less cool, and more of a projection of how some people needed Eva to help market mecha designs, not allowing for original designs to flourish.

@FlywheelKnot @seri3ma No one catch new peny desing in that Game is a refence of tron bone of megaman Legends/dash who in a figthing Game has very similar move set and even similar robot xD.

@kanalit5 Showing skin doesn't mean 'licentious sex-kitten'. Her exposure + her cold demeanor is the point, in conjunction w/ her coat covering so much of her body. When she fights, she's more open = she's more comfortable to be herself while in danger. Easy character design storytelling.

@backinblac36885 Thing is, people don't really like the OG version which is undoubtedly skimpy, sometimes, skimpy outfits don't go too well with cold-looking characters. It is a matter of taste, and I thought a white jacket is a nice addition to the cover skin, that's all.
