@thatstarwarsgrl I think back in the day, the fathers usually responded their spouse, (they could make more kids) and mothers responded the kids. No idea if this was accurate, something I remember hearing in school in the 80s. Most of us kids always saved the dog first.

Bet Gygax never envisioned, the climax of OoTA, but handing control of Orcus, Grazz't, Demogorgon, etc.. my players loved it.
