@jeffhyde @ChaseTBrooke1 Funding silos are one of the worst barriers to collaboration. More often than not, funds are extremely targeted and can only be used within a certain county, program, or within state. Same thing with personnel. Unless that changes, collaboration will always be very limited.

@OSUExtTech @ChaseTBrooke1 Might be a chicken/egg sort of thing. Ag leaders (who advocate for $$) in both PA and TX have told me they don't think we (internally) work together as well as we could. If $$ is limiting to collabs and collabs are low because of reduced $$, are we doomed to shrink more?

Extension organizations have been saying the following things for at least 25 years. Extension should: - use technology better, - collaborate & communicate better, & -reduce administrative burden on personnel. Would love thoughts on why these remain issues for #coopext.

@EStafne @jeffhyde And many of us technologists, storytellers, artists, futurists, etc. don't have a 4 year degree or more, which makes it extra hard to be hired in Extension to do creative, innovative work. I'm one of the lucky ones.

@jeffhyde Technology changes faster than adoption & training I think we need in person training on good collaboration, project management, working on collab teams Admin burden to me is duplication of efforts/reports on same data/info. Easily doubles reporting time & increases stress
