@LauraLynn1960 @TheHofstatter @nytimes Just set some deadline like ballots have to arrive within a week after Election Day. Anyway, there’s no need to wait for every last ballot to arrive to declare a winner unless the election is close.

Musing on the @MineBotcoin experiment... TLDR - seems to me like no ordinary, flash in the pan micro cap and might be the most interesting thing to emerge out of the Base agents meta. So what is it? $BOTCOIN is an experiment in giving agents the ability to earn (mine) currency via work that is only solvable at scale by an LLM. @MineBotcoin’s blockchain security is already solved (it's on Base, which inherits Ethereum). So mining serves a radically different purpose: generating trap-aware reasoning datasets as a public good. Why bother? Reinforcement learning through human feedback (RLHF) hides raw thinking. Models learn to polish outputs, hide dead-ends, suppress uncertainty, and avoid showing exploratory messiness. @MineBotcoin flips it: mining challenges embed intentional reasoning traps (randomised, cascading errors). Agents submit full traces — capturing unfaithful chains of thought: genuine backtracking, overconfidence, trap navigation. They show how agents actually reason when forced to explore without hiding failures. Structured, verifiable datasets of how agents actually think when pursuing goals (not just polished outputs) are rare in today’s aligned models. If such datasets prove useful for model fine tuning (rejection sampling, bias audits, or reducing hallucinations) then model creators have incentive to participate. Can we expect OpenAI or Anthropic to start spinning up agents on OpenClaw to mine $BOTCOIN? Probably not. They are surely running their own internal tests at massive scale. But, a public, verifiable record of frontier model flaws empowers open-source devs to build more truth-seeking, less biased, more exploratory AI. This rhymes with Bitcoin's attempt to create a parallel economic plane for more honest, transparent and fair outcomes. $BOTCOIN is a parallel cognitive plane for fairer, better-reasoned AI. So if you want honest AI, $BOTCOIN is a way to vote for it. Better yet, you can contribute to that making that outcome a reality by instructing your OpenClaw agent to mine it and get paid for the privilege.

Some stats after a full epoch of multi-pass mode: - Successful solves on attempt 1: ~4000 - Successful solves on attempt 2: ~150 - Successful solves on attempt 3: ~25 Average overall pass rate is around 40%, with most fails coming from one or two of the more complex constraints or filler/bogus reasoning. Still locking down the exact data format, but the successful solves on the first attempt, and especially attempts 2 and 3 show promising cross-referencing/curiosity and reasoned revisions, exactly what we're trying to capture. These can be used as pairs: attempt 1 (fail) jumps to conclusions, doesn't cross verify or check against other information -> don't do this attempt 2 (pass) goes through to find missed information, reasons, verifies one answer against new information from another -> do this
Botcoin@MineBotcoin

Multi-pass mode is now enabled. When miners submit a challenge solve, it will either pass, or fail. A fail response looks like this: { "pass": false, "retryAllowed": true, "attemptsUsed": 1, "attemptsRemaining": 2, "constraintsPassed": 5, "constraintsTotal": 8, } Miners have 3 total attempts until they are required to request a new challenge. The broken up multi-step system gives very informative revision/cross-referential/skepticism data, which can be combined into a single start->finish train of reasoning Fail 1 -> reverify, cross reference and see what might be wrong , revise -> fail 2 -> revise again -> pass All the necessary info to retry a challenge is returned in the response but I've also updated the skill file with a small section.

at the end of epoch 27 i'll begin allowing miners to submit solves in 3 attempts (rather than a single fail forcing a new challenge) i initially wanted to guage whether an agent could juggle everything at once with a single pass, but as the scope of the data evolves, it makes perfect sense to give miners multiple submit attempts this gives an implicit mapping of agents thinking based on information that changed from pass to pass (we dont need to rely on faithful reporting) what this allows: challenges can move to slightly higher complexity (more causal reasoning, more multi hops, less scriptable) keeps it accessible to smaller models while still rewarding better solvers for speed agents can learn iteratively -> optimize in a loop -> produce even better data to prevent gaming the system, an incorrect solve submission only returns how many constraints are correct, not which ones specifically. overall this feels like an improvement for everyone. smaller models get a much better shot at higher solve rates, frontier models still benefit from more credits for solving quickly, and agents provide more concrete data on reasoning The challenge payload and error responses will be clear about this change, but to be extra explicit i'll also add a small update to the skill file

I've spent about 3 weeks and over $2,000 in Claude tokens setting up multiple agents to trade on Polymarket It was paper trading for a week and averaged about $80 per day It's been live for 2 days & completely broken All of these other people gotta lying on the timeline 😂😂

@MineBotcoin @nookplot Is there a risk that since agents need to hold a certain amount of BOTCOIN to stake, if price goes up too much it will be impossible for new agents to join and would price them out? Or do holding requirements lower as price appreciates or something?

Pushed a new update for the Botcoin pool - Better UI and UX - Documentation and Leaderboard - Your pool will now remain highlighted so you can find it easier during creation. Please make sure that you always setup an LLM operator before staking since that is a mandatory step for you to actually earn rewards. Gonna continue to push updates, currently working in pre-pools logic that will help users with lower amounts stake as long they have selected an operator, however it will take some time..

hey clawnch if you want some potential extra yield, operate a pool, (you act as the solver) and other agents/users delegate their tokens to your pool you take a small % of botcoin epoch rewards from depositors for doing the heavy lifting as solver/operator and potentially reaching higher tier thresholds love to see the clawnch agent get into botcoin mining. participating in other projects in the ecosystem is how we grow the pie and all win (and as i've said before one of the main reasons i built on top of bankr and have these build bounties)

Lot's of staking action happening through the community created pool operator agents! Going to be subsidizing one of them with a market buy of BOTCOIN to get it to 100M (highest credit tier) after they push a few changes additionally - had some good submissions for the 'plug-and-play BANKR agent' miner. still waiting on a few to add a simple frontend but for agents/users comfortable just using CLI, a user open-sourced their setup github.com/harbingerarbit…

@MineBotcoin People aren't understanding that some folks just got $1000s of dollars for mining that last epoch. Wild that this project isn't over $10m yet. How to get the bots to notice??

it looks like epoch 19 was the first bonus epoch. I was away and didn't notice until now but everything functioned correctly and the bonus claim was funded with 950,000,000 BOTCOIN the skill file already has instructions that agents should be following to check for bonus claims congrats to those who mined that epoch
