Reminder that under Obama's Iran Deal the Iranians shipped 98 percent of their enriched uranium out of the country - without a pointless and devastating war.

Wow. Talk about shadow banning! This post must have triggered every algorithm in the book. Elon managed to make sure that fewer 500 people saw. So don't read it. If you do, you will be defying Musk, MAGA, Trump and Putin.

Deliberately killing an elderly diplomat and his wife precisely because he was working on a peace effort is one of the greatest crimes imaginable—a killing carried out to prevent a peaceful resolution.
Murtaza Hussain@MazMHussain

The Israeli/US murder of Kharazi at his house along with his wife was truly despicable act—killing a reformist diplomat who served an FM for Khatami and helped develop his “Concert of Civilizations” idea and was reportedly helping mediate the current situation.

Nvidia paid $6.01 per share for 2.9% of $NOK in October. Nokia is now at $9.55 I was at GTC and met with some of the Nokia exec team. What they described changes how you think about what a cell tower actually is. Jensen Huang called it "Robotic AI Radio." The idea is simple: a factory robot cannot wait 200 milliseconds for a cloud server to process its next move. So instead of sending that data back to a centralized data center, you run the inference directly at the cell tower. Every tower becomes a distributed AI compute node. $NOK is deploying $NVDA RTX PRO 4500 Blackwell GPUs directly into its AI-RAN base stations to make this possible, running on $DELL PowerEdge servers. $TMUS was the first US carrier to pilot it. There are roughly 100,000 distributed network sites worldwide with enough spare capacity to add over 100 gigawatts of new AI compute over time. Nokia is the western vendor building the software stack that runs on top of Nvidia's hardware to make those sites intelligent. Nokia's acquisition of Infinera gave it 800G ZR coherent pluggables at exactly the moment hyperscalers started treating optical backbones as AI infrastructure, not telecom infrastructure. $CIEN is seeing the same demand and just guided $5.7 to $6.1 billion in revenue for fiscal 2026, up nearly 24%. $NOK Optical Networks grew 17% in Q4 2025, with €2.4B in hyperscaler orders for the full year. Management is targeting €3.1 to €3.7B in operating profit by 2028, up from just over €2B in 2025. The RAN market alone is projected to reach $200B by 2030. Nvidia did not buy into Nokia because they needed the equity exposure. They bought in because they needed the distribution.

1 Listening to Hegseth and Caine, it’s clear Caine’s the adult in the room (and probably responsible for avoiding a catastrophe), and Hegseth’s a petulant child. For example, Hegseth has called a reporter rude, ready to bite their head off, and Caine, not understanding a question

85% of India's police are constables. The clerk is invisible to everyone — except the citizen who needs him. Sociologist Lenski called it Status Inconsistency: high power, low rank. The strain turns outward. Onto you. A 2021 study found low power breeds paranoia — which breeds aggression. That hostile window clerk isn't a bad person. He's a predictable product of a broken system. The Police Act of 1861 still governs how a constable meets a citizen in 2025. When I became DGP Haryana, I didn't start with training. I started with dignity. Wrote to every jawan in Hindi: "You are the most important rank. The citizen at your gate is having a difficult day. Offer them a chair." It worked. Because these are good people inside a broken design. But goodwill has a shelf life. Georgia after Rose Revolution recruited anew, raised salaries, tied promotion to conduct. Within 6 years — per Princeton's research — their police ranked 3rd most trusted institution in the country, after church and army. The lesson isn't training. It's incentives. Reward dignity. Recognise integrity. Link promotion to conduct. Give them something to gain by being good. That's the reform. Everything else is noise. Read my full article in @Dailyworld

I just heard from a source very close to top of the White House that, following today’s shootdown of an F-15, an A-10, and the successful hits on multiple helicopters and other aircraft, the WH is choosing further escalation, including US troops on the ground. This would be madness. I truly hope that someone in the Pentagon or elsewhere can prevent this from happening. If anything was proven today, it’s that Iranian AD is still very capable and very intact. Any US ground operation will be heavily reliant on helicopters and other slow-moving airframes. Despite the assertions of both the Pentagon and POTUS, it is crystal clear that we have not reduced Iranian AD to the point where a ground operation is even a remotely wise decision. Let alone potentially inserting by air and then being exclusively reliant on an air corridor for things such as resupply and CASEVAC. History is replete with examples where this reliance has been disastrous. Further, the hard part would be after troops were on the objective. Our lack of manpower leaves little room for maneuver, and once static (which would be required), Americans will become a stationary target for the entire inventory of Iranian indirect fire capabilities on Iranian soil, and it is a recipe for failure. Simply put, this is not an existential war for the US's survival. It’s a war of choice that should never have happened in the first place, and POTUS should be finding a way out, rather than clumsily and recklessly sacrificing America’s finest.

General Randy George served 44 years in the U.S. Army. He earned the Combat Infantryman Badge in two separate wartime periods as both a junior officer and senior officer. He commanded combat troops at every level. He served five years total in combat zones. None of it matters to Hegseth. He's willing to tarnish a widely-respected general officer--known for his professionalism--just for the show of it. This administration does not care about our military.
