Fun fact for anyone chatting with Japanese people online! 📱💻 If you see: w wwww 草 they usually mean the same thing as “lol” in English. “草” literally means “grass,” but online it became slang for laughter because “wwww” looks like grass growing. 🌱 So if a Japanese person replies with “草”, they’re probably laughing, not talking about plants. 😹🇯🇵
